seriously. have some respect for the guy who is the reason you'll live comfortably for the rest of your life. 95% of the people who know who andy bell is know his name because he was the bassist in a band noel made famous well before he was around. what a douche.

i am truly sorry. i thought i checked the other threads, but i must have missed it, i assume it's in the oasis section, considering there are a bunch of people in there right now, and the only thing that a bunch of people could be talking about this time of night is something as obvious as how big of a douche andy bell is. i won't take offense if the thread gets deleted (but it won't hurt anyone but andy to leave it up)

Andy Bell is and always was a douche. He still hasn't addressed the whole "counting his shoes" situation. I laugh at the thought of Andy Bell throwing a punch, let alone an insult. He should be bowing to Noel for allowing him to leach off the success of Oasis.

Let's see Andy spoke up about himself and told his side of the story so he's a douche? I believe him more than any Gallagher. What's Andy supposed to do? play referee? He probably experienced Noel & Liam fighting dozens of times. I doubt he thought the major row was anything special. He did the right thing and kept his mouth shut. After all he was in the room when it happened and he knows Noel more than any of us combined.
BTW Gem and Andy had been in Oasis longer than Bonehead and Guigs.

Listen people! It's this simple. Bell is a nice guy and all, and a good bassist, but he's a clown.
I believe that he's a little tool for Liam. I like him, and I would want him back in Oasis if they ever got reformed, but he's a punk-clown. I believe he was counting his shoes very hard during the altercation. I believe that he always was one-sided with Liam. Without Noel, Andy Bell is pumping gas somewhere or blowing it with some mid-rate band.
Noel Gallagher is more than Andy Bell will ever be. What a idiot. Let it rest... he really didn't do the interview right. The vibe I got was: "I'm so happy, we're in our band, and Noel seems happy but he's a liar and none of those things he said happened, but I'm not going to say what did happen because I'd be lying too"

Without Noel, Andy Bell is pumping gas somewhere or blowing it with some mid-rate band. what does that got to do with anything? there's lots of people in 'some mid-rate band' . and there's also lots of musicians that play to 20-30 people in pubs their whole lives. not everyone can be in oasis. yes, you're absolutely right--- he was very lucky to be in the right place at the right time to join oasis. but just because he speaks his mind in an interview, all of a sudden he's a 'clown'? it's not like he was taking up for liam--- it's not like he came out and said 'liam's right, noel's wrong.' he was asked a question and he answered it, is all. and then he wished noel all the best. what was wrong with that? EDIT: also, it was NOEL who called ANDY out by saying he was just sitting there staring down at his shoes... so it's not cool for andy to defend himself? nonsense. because we know for a FACT everything that noel has ever said in every interview is TRUE. |

Had you read the first part of the interview, you'd of seen that it was given by phone TWO DAYS AFTER Noel's press conference. So, no, Andy isn't a coward. He addressed it quite quickly. It just hasn't hit the press until now. Guys, relax. Andy is harmless. He's the type of person who would much rather stay out of other people's problems then get involved. He probably sat there "counting his shoes" because he knew damn well it wasn't his place to get involved and thought to himself it's best to have the brothers hash it out on their own. Noel is just upset that Andy was in the room and didn't do anything, but Andy was taking the neutral ground. When is this wrong? Yes, Andy owes a lot of his success to Noel. And I'm sure he'd be the first to admit it. I'd say instead of him being the "douche" that you all say he is, I rather consider him a class act, addressing the situation while keeping a bit of distance from it all by saying Noel said some lies but followed it up with saying he wishes him all the best. It boggles my mind that someone who tries to keep the peace and avoids a public display of bad blood can be considered a douche. If anything, he was doing the smart thing. How would it look if Andy retaliated by putting the boss down? He'd look like shit, and he knows it. Good on him for the way he handled things. You guys need to relax. |

Can everyone stop using the word 'Douche' I know a lot of you are American and that's great, but it's the shittest insult in the world.
Bottom line is: None of us will ever know the 100% truth about what happened that night. Until then, it's all speculation as to who was to blame the most.
