7. Decent tune-like the harmonies. Nothing earthshaking.
The Good Rebel= Mr Tambourine Man + Rain + pre-chorus of Somebody's Baby by Jackson Browne(!!!).

I think it'll be better live as well. But now there's no Noel to do the backing vocals. We'll see how his backing vocalist is. I think that Noel will be pretty easy to sing behind...probably easier than Liam. Noel's pretty consistent. Presumably David McDonnell from The Sand Band will be the backing vocalist. Listened to a few of their tunes. I think he'll do a credible job.

Unless Noel brings someone along specifically for backing vocals. There was a woman listed in a couple articles as having been a contributer on backing vocals for the album.

I think its twice as good as Bring the light, and that was a 3. so 3x2 is 6 + 1 for it being a B-side=7

Way to soon to put a number on it. For now. Dissapointed. Extremely bland average tune. Expected A LOT more from it. The same…………

What's the frequency Kenneth anyone? The verses, yes. But not the chorus. The comparisons with REM are definitely legit, though. Also, agreed about TGR being a good live song. Hard to forget the lyrics, isn't it?

Just put on the ol' headphones, and this tune is a throwback to BHN era bass-less blasting rock. Really full of energy. I like it a lot. Reminds me of hearing Stay Young for the first time. It's not the best tune ever, but very much worth the listen. Noel sounds phenomenal, really!

Who are the other guitarists again? Do they have a good voice for the backings? Here's "Set Me Free" by The Sand Band whos singer is Noel's new guitarist David McDonnell..he's got a good voice so I think he'll provide some good backing vocals.

...and thoughts regarding the song, I think it's good for what it is which is a b-side. Some cool harmonies and agree with the BHN throwback comments. 6/10.
