Id say Chelsea could challenge City next season... think that was gonna be a given really.after their champions league win and the windfall that gives the ffpr rules dont really matter couple more big signings i reckon too.shame i wouldnt of minded hazard at city but we missed out on sanchez last season and we got aguero in replacement. Will be interseting to see if Kagawa(sp?) signs for utd now. Also if we can get Bale for the spuds. love transfer window time.

chelsea still need to sort out the strikers, with the loss of drogba they are not gonna want to rest their hopes on torres or the selfish sturridge.

Think the whole hazard thing has been great for media but not for the clubs involved(kind of knew when he announced on twitter that he would be naming the team he was signing for on there later that it would be chelsea)or are apparently involved as think both city and utd have said that agent request(apparently 4.5m to himself)and wage demands was not in their interest. I await watching him play in the league though, think the prem may be a shock to him as its a lot faster than hes used to.

TBF I'd easily say DogLeash was the worst manager in the Premiership last season. Rodgers will be a good appointment given time and money. I can't see the Anfield "faithful" giving him either though. Woy Mk. II

Woy Mk. II Oh without a doubt, if he doesnt get 30pts from the 1st ten games he'll be branded as shit. Brendans last game as Swansea Manager, Swansea 1-0 Liverpool.

We should've given kenny at least another year. I mean what more can this guy do? is he really going to put Liverpool into the top 4 with a limited budget? Kenny got us a trophy and at least into a european competition. What do the owners actually want and expect?

Did you see how much money was wasted on Carroll, Henderson and Downing? Fucking Charlie Adam ffs. This appointment smacks of their recent transfer policy which is centered around this moneyball crap. "Oh this guy has 88% pass completion. He'd be great in our midfield!" e.g. downing. Unfortunately most of those passes find themselves going sideways or backwards. Very few going forward. It'll be perfect with the new manager. Liverpool will dominate with 60-70% possession and still lose.

That's nothing, they were banning anyone who said anything negative about King Kenny.

Ive yet to see a club do well in the Prem when doing this 'director of football' shite,
Newcastle did it with Dennis Wise and ended up relegated!
Whos to blame if things go shite next year? Van Gaal for signing shit players or Rodgers for not getting the best out of Van Gaals world-class signings?

Doesn't Van Gaal have a habit of falling out with managers?

£38 million for hulk, i have only seen him in a couple of games and while decent he didn't look like £38 million worth of talent. Is he better than i think?
