Rather than have a few threads on each team in the world famous English Premier League, i thought it would be better to have just the 1 which hopefull will create bit more debate, friendly banter and some fierce rivalry!!!! Starting off, it looks like Arsenal currently have a summer sale on. Samir Nasri looks like he is going to Manchester, Fabregoose is heading to Spain and Clichy also looks on his way!!! I hereby predict that Arsenal will drop out of the top 4 and die

And I hereby predict Liverpool will take their place.

Haha Bonkers.
BTW, I'm still going to create my annual Arsenal season thread. I find a specific thread cathartic to deal with AW and his ongoing frustrations.

Here's hoping Derren Pratley is some sort of fucking goal machine, otherwise we are looking pretty fucked right now.
God I hate that my local team isn't owned by a rich Yank/European.

i really just don't want Manchester United to win the league. i wanna see somone else win, and i don't even dislike ManU, they're a good team even though i can't understand a word Alex Ferguson says.

I'm expecting the usual mediocre season for my beloved Sunderland...
P.S NL4E, your Arsenal thread is going to a grim affair, you'll definitely struggle this year

P.S NL4E, your Arsenal thread is going to a grim affair, you'll definitely struggle this year yeah. until they get rid of Wenger they're fucked. he does have the perfect name for their team (i think that's why they keep him around). what. a. pussy. i watched one of the last games between Liverpool and Arsenal last season, there was like some bad call towards the end of the match or something, Wenger was crying like a pussy and Kenny Daglish kinda like waved him off, as to say stop crying 'you pussy!' what. a. pussy. up. the. ass.

If that was the case, Real Madrid and Chelsea would be doing so much better. Nonsense once more as it looks like both Nasri and Cesc are staying. Nonsense hattrick because Cesc doesn't dislike Arsenal. Rather, he has always yearned to go back to his boyhood club, and he will do so eventually, and I can respect that.

dont think city will win the league with munchini in charge either be utd or chelsea probably. i pick Man City to keep things interesting... if i were betting.....Man United, no doubt. Chelsea will have a new manager, who is it? they'll have a honeymoon phase, probably have to get in line or whatever. p.s. i'm really getting into soccer. i like the scoring system, well kinda. tying should NEVER be acceptable, and how teams get relegated, that's interesting. p.s.s. have you diehard soccer fans accepted soccer's corrupt? i mean, come on, i'd rather have Stevie Wonder refereeing than any of the overly paid refs now. p.s.s.s. bonkers. you. are. awesome. (i'll stop doing that tag eventually, well, unless you come up with something to top your awesomeness.)

(i'd love to take, even average NFL football players and NBA basketball players and make them play soccer (soccer's all footwork, obviously, so are those sports (and NFL and NBA players are twice as big as most humans and more athletic)) and let them jump over, and run circles around ANY soccer player, and let the world hate america for another reason.

Nonsense. Soccer players need to be nimble, agile, and quick on their feet. Being big and bulky would be a disadvantage for most soccer positions. Just compare the oaf Emile Heskey to the likes of Michael Owen in his prime, or Theirry Henry......

Just compare the oaf Emile Heskey to the likes of Michael Owen in his prime, or Theirry Henry...... sorry, i would've responded sooner but my power went out because of inclement Ohio weather. come on, by God's definition and design, Lebron James is a perfect physical specimen. he's more or less a giant and nimble, agile, and quick on his feet. he'd jump over Lionel Messi then run two circles around him, and then steal the ball from him as Messi's staring at the ball, he plays with his head down way too much (he really does). i'm sorry but that's just a fact. p.s. another one of my problems with soccer is substitutions. how many do you get? i'll take my chances on an average, full go player over a tired great player any day at the end of matches

What about Jan Koller,Ronaldo(in his latter days wasnt as quick as you could say) and I could go on and on? , Its all about getting the ball into the net and it doesnt really matter how(well without fouls, but even refs are making mistakes)

There could be two reasons: The ones that shoot are snipers or the goalkeepers have bad reflexes(or could be both things).

yeah, i don't get it. all the goals in the women's world cup are like the goals in men's soccer that you hardly ever see but when you do you're like, 'wow, that was unbelievable, where'd that come from?'
also, Hope Solo is pretty cute. even though i think her name's made up.
