If Beady Eye were a Premiership football team they would have been relegated back in February If Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds were a Premiership football team, they would have had the league win in their sights, only for a clown who doesn't deserve the success from American Idol/X Factor win it at the last moment. Cough.

Why Wigan? They have played some brilliant football this season. Definitely deserve to stay up purely for the attractive football they play. Correction, they played beautiful football from March on. I just think there are a lot of clubs more deserving of a PL place. Ones that might actually fill a stadium from time to time. hmmm...don't know how much you've seen of them, but they've mostly played decent football. Playing a watchable sort of football does not have to mean you are winning week in, week out.

Its like Heat magazine giving Noel album of the year.

These so called plastic fans, how do you define them? How many t-shirts or stadium tickets does it take no to be a plastic fan? Is it a matter of years of support? Do you have to know the history of the club to be cleaned of this plastic fan cover or something?
What are the other fans made of?
Do you become a plastic fan when your team win the league? If a team is playing in the championship, can it still have its share of plastic fans?
Who do you think has more plastic fans? United or City? Allow me to reformulate, back in the lucrative asian market, who sells more t-shirts, United or City?

It's rethorical. But at least you're happy about United's success in some way.

It's rethorical. But at least you're happy about United's success in some way. I'm not happy about it. I tolerate it as I tolerate many other dislikeable yet inescapable traits of the modern game, like foreign takeovers, debt, player agents, exorbitant transfer fees, ever-increasing player salaries, ticket price hikes, and inequal distribution of collective revenue.

Its like Heat magazine giving Noel album of the year. No, I have no idea what cup they won. I completely took a random stab in the dark and said they won a cup, without knowing any details. In a way thats very like Beady Eye fans, posting about how "great" Beady Eye are despite never listening to the album, because anybody that listens to it would obviously know its shite. D'You know what I mean? Yeah Yeah? I am Jason, and I've been telling it like it is since the day I was born. Yeah buddy.

Playing attractive football but not being good enough to win doesn't justify your place in the Premiership. No you're right it doesn't but beating Man U, Arsenal and Newcastle when the chips were down to keep the team in the premier league does. If surviving relegation doesn't 'justify' your place in the PL i don't really know what does.

City are champions! Thread over :-) Enjoy it. As agonising as it was to watch as a United fan, moments like that are what football fans live for. I've been there, and it's fucking brilliant.
