I'd LOVE to see Kasabian live. Maybe they should get off of their asses and visit America? They'll be in New York in 9 days playing some sort of rooftop gig. For Mulberry label's 40th birthday or something. The news sites have picked it up as a "9/11 remembrance gig" though as that's a better headline for them. There's plans for a tour at some stage soon also I believe. |

Playing Belfast Odyssey Arena on the 25th of November. That makes it 13 Arenas for the UK Tour.

It's insulting for them not only to completely ignore America, but to also spit in the faces of their American fans by saying our taste in music is shit. As if Britain's top 40 is any better. |

I hope the rest of the album isn't as bad as that b-side, it's just boring.
I'm tired of their promotion for Velociraptor saying it's the sound of the future, if that's how the future sounds like, I'm off.

I think the last time Kasabian hit the United States was in the fall of 2006. I remember seeing them on Letterman and later that same week in Philadelphia and haven't returned since. A real shame. They put on a great show.

I think it's because, no offence to Americans, but most of america have a shit taste in music and they only want to hear pop music... the UK is probably like 60% po, 40% everything else... So they can pull off tours easy in the UK as they have a large following here... But there's not so much of a following over there... I can't see them not playing a few smaller shows in America this tour though |

has there been any news on support acts? when i saw them in Swindon a band called The Hours supported them and they were great, they crowd actually wanted them to carry on when they finished.. hope they support again I'm from Swindon mate, that gig was at the Oasis back in 09 wasn't it? I didn't go coz I'd seen Oasis in Cardiff the night before and Kasabian were supporting. Seen a couple of decent gigs there though, The Enemy and Weller. haha... I was in Cardiff to see Oasis and Kasabian and also at the gig in Swindon the day after... odd venue  The O2 isn't my favourite venue but I booked tickets for both dates! Nice constrast to the small gigs here in Germany. |

West Ryder leaked the 24th of May and had it's first release on the 5th of June. That means it leaked 12 days before release...we are currenly gone past that for this release (11 days left).....so I expect any day now we will have it
