yeah...i agree with you i don't think it's the best choice for single.If i was in their position i would have chosen Millionaire or TBGO...

They already released BTL, why another simple Liam-rocker? I would have gone with Millionaire or For Anyone (of course my favorite was FLW, but that's not an option anymore).

This album is finished in the charts.....it's like they don't want to have success....if they release The Beat Goes On on the other hand,i could even see the album climbing to no1 and glory days ahead...

I feared this would happen. They want to be a rock 'n roll band, so they want the majority of the singles to be rock 'n roll songs.
But Why B&S?? It's my least favorite song of the album... Don't get me wrong, I think it's an okay tune, but if they'd release it as a single, I fear I will start to hate it.
Same happened with "Shakermaker". An okay-ish tune, but each time I listen to it it makes me kinda sick, knowing they could've released"Slide away" or "RNRS" as a single.
What's wrong with "Three Ring Circus", or even "SOTEOTN" (yes, I actually like that track ;-)) Especially TRC is miles better as a single..
Indeed, best choice would be "Millionaire". It's not a ballad, but rock 'n roll enough I guess to justify it as a single (in Liam's point of view)

I think Millionaire would have been the better choice as well.
They need something uptempo now since TR was a ballad so I understand them not using TBGO.
They are obviously using it because they are working on a turn system and it's Liam's turn. If they really want to be considered a songwriting partnership they should do away with this turn system IMO and just pick the best tunes. it shows to me that regardless of how they credit them as they are very aware of what tunes belong to who when they really should just consider them to be the bands.

This makes no sense, if they wanted a rocker they should go with 3RC, it's an amazing tune...
If they are taking turns among the songwriters it's just absurd...

He seemed to confirm Millionaire as the second single and said tomorrow they are shooting the video en route to Madrid, so I suspect a video shot in Spain.
That type of video sounds really cool and that interview is one of the best they've done so far in my opinion so if you havent seen it then I would give it a look.
