I don't know what you guys were talking about when you said this sounded bad I thought it was very good! It was more raw then the radio sessions, but what did you expect? If this is how the gigs will sound than I think we can be more than happy! I LOVED the backing vocals in BTL (epic!) and KFAD. Also Liam sounded pretty good on KFAD imo This is what backing vocals should sound like! They brought Liam's voice to a higher level! the radio session i heard was pre-recorded, so i dunno if that even qualifies as live, god only knows what was done to the songs. i've only heard 'BTL' from these sessions, which is much better live. also, is the guy who's playing keyboards, who looks really strung out, the same guy who played keyboards for Oasis on the DOYS tour?

No,this is Matt Jones. On DOYS tour was Jay Darlington known as 'Jesus'.

Not a bad gig at all to be fair, vocals not as good as Radio One/KEXP but hey Liam aint gonna sing perfectly every night.
Four Letter Word and The Roller were still sounding great, really suit his voice at the moment, Bring the Light I thought was phenomenal with guitars, gonna be great live... I thought Gem's McCartney-esque "yeah yeah yeah" was a great shout. As for Kill for a dream, Still havent got fully into this song but think I might prefer it live after this

The sound is really good, digging that. But Liam's falling back to snarling instead of singing properly sometimes - it's fine on The Roller and FLW (which is absolutely amazing) but bad on the verses of BTL. Still, good performance. The backing vocals are class.

Just watched it. Nice little program that. BTL sounds like it's gonna be mega live, especially the second half of that song - love the backing vocals, Gem's Yeah Yeah Yeah part, and Chris is a monster on the drums during the outro!
Liam has consistently hit form on The Roller, too.
The guitar solo on FLW needs to be louder, though. On all of the live recordings so far, it's been way too quiet.
How good is KFAD? Reminds me of Liam's vocals on SCYHO.....

Beautifully put together programme and looked stunning. Just a shame they didn't do a few Oasis ones like this. Agree with the comments about Liam's vocals, they weren't as good as the radio sessions, but as Marco pointed out I think it's because he feels he has to sing louder when they're performing in the same room together which means his voice goes a bit. I don't know why someone doesn't just turn his microphone right up and tell him to pretend he's in the studio and sing within himself. I guess this is just how he thinks he should sing in a live concert to make it sound 'rock 'n' roll'. Still, a great show. I notice they only screened the first half of the gig - would be brilliant if the second half gets shown at some point.

^^ Yea Liam pretty much said so himself "I don't want to sound like a pussy, I need to shout it so it sounds proper rock n roll!" (Or something like that).
I was gutted when I heard that. I really thought that without Noel next to him on stage, Liam might 'sing' more (I always thought Liam found it awkward singing on stage with Noel for some reason?). I just hope he properly sings at least on Morning Son, TBGO, For Anyone, etc in the gigs.
