He sounded fine on FLW and The Roller. Not quite as good as the other performances but he was pushing his voice more in this performance.

Liam sounds awful, like he's got a mango stuck at the back of his throat. And now they're about to perform the worst song on the album.

BTL is fucking great. Andy and Gem singing the "Baby come ons" at the end with Liam's snarl, those guitars, the pounding drums and piano, it's great.

Listening to him has made me feel like I've got something in my own throat. I keep having to swallow and stuff.

Liam is not as good as the radio performances, but he isn't bad. Bad Liam is like really, really bad.
This would've been a good night in most of the DBTT tour. It's just that he was sounding magnificent on the radio sessions, so he spoiled us a little bit, I think.

I love Liam, but his voice sounds terrible here. Not a patch on the BBC/KEXP sessions. He needs to chill the fuck out and sing from his gut not his throat. Has he learned nothing? He is yelling in Bring The Light, not singing.

BTL was the best track of the lot, such a groove on that tune. And I think it was his best vocal and will be, as they more or less recorded that live in the studio.
Loved in towards the end when all 3 were going at it, really cannot wait to hear that live.
Also anyone who what guitar, Andy used on BTL? Only saw the odd glimpse of it, looked similar to the Silver Florentine that Noel has used.

Haha. Liam sounded pretty bad on FLW n BTL, The Roller was better and Kill For A Dream almost perfect. Really does prove that the more he tries to strain n shout out the 'rockers' the worse his voice sounds. I really hate to moan n get into these topics on his singin but its really hard to ignore!
What was Liam sayin to that poor sound guy about his singin in the first half? Either way Liam definitely seemed to be on one.
Rest of the band n the overall sound was fuckin top though. Bring The Light sounded surprisingly good musically

What I'm most interested in is whether the other four recorded tracks will ever see the light of day. Is there any other programme that's likely to show them?

Forget about Maine Road ffs, he sounded a million times better just the other week on the BBC and on KEXP. We're upset cos we know what he's capable of. He needs to sort it out or we will continue to moan.

I clearly have forgotten about Maine road if you read my post properly, i was saying the exact opposite of expecting him to sound like that, i thought he sounded good for the most part but what i noticed about the radio 1 session is that it sounded better when you watched the video, and maybe it was the case for the UK members tonight that got to see it
