seriously great song, those who can't appreciate it must be deaf or living on a different audioplane Agreed ;D What. a. classic! So long, so long.. someday all the world will sing my song Still life remains, somewhere in my heart the beat goes on...Fuckin' beautiful! Man, I really wish I could hear something different. lol Who knows, it might grow on me. But for now, its kinda of a sappy ballad that never really goes anywhere. Really do wish I could hear something different.

Looks like this may be the most polarizing track on the album?
I guess some people enjoy sap more than others. It's a little too thick for me to swallow in this song, and where are the dynamics?

Absolute classic. The verses are better than some of the other songs' choruses - the tune is nearly perfect.

I just heard the album for the first time, without having heard anything by the band for the last month.
Sweet -as beatles as you can get- little album and TBGO is easily the best song, absolutely wonderful.

I absolutely love the song, but cannot STAND when people say "Anyone who doesn't like this is (insert insult here)". Get over it; people have different opinions.

Damn, TBGO is massive.... I was worried there wasn't going to be a chorus... But when I discovered there was, WOW! One of the amazing tunes on the album!!! Never thought we'd have 1 tune of this level from BDI, but we've gotten at least 4!!
edit: listened to it again, forgot the piano part on the end! So simple but brilliant....

It doesn't need a "big" chorus. Tremendous song. Classic.

I guess some people enjoy sap more than others. It's a little too thick for me to swallow in this song, and where are the dynamics? After listening to oasis for all these years,NOW you are complaining about dynamics? Definitely. Especially on a ballad like this. BHN aside, Oasis' softer moments were not just full of melody but also had some dynamic variation. It helps really sell the more emotional parts of the song. There's no buildup in this song and I think it hurts its overall effect. It's also one of the more muddy sounding tracks, which may be because of the source. When we get a proper rip some clarity might help it a bit, but for me it just sounds like a generic ballad. I totally understand why people like it, but it's missing the things that make other parts of the album great for me.

Great tune. It reminds me quite of "Keep The Dream Alive," and the keyboards/drumming after Liam sings "the beat goes on" kind of sounds like the ending of The Rolling Stones' "She's A Rainbow."
EDIT: Not "She's A Rainbow." "Child Of The Moon" is more accurate. Didn't Andy compare one of the songs on the album to that? I'm thinking he was referring to this one.
