From Gem's comments, it seems that they have a father-teenager relationship. It is really sad : Liam is almost 40. hahahahahahahahahahaha You are the biggest fanboy i've ever encountered.

This forum is ridiculous. One week, it collectively decides Beady Eye are amazing, and the next, that they are awful. WE HAVEN'T EVEN HEARD THE RECORD. Everyone just chill the fuck out and stop over-analyzing nothing. Sometimes I wish that people wouldn't give into the urge to think like Liam talks. "People are either for us or against us" kind of thought strikes me as incredibly dull. I have never decided that BDI were amazing last week or any other time. And most people on here aren't saying they are awful. It's a much murkier idea about whether BDI are simply average...unremarkable @ worst The fact is that a thread like this will pop up every once in a while to allow those that are feeling slightly dissatisfied with BDI's output and are feeling a bit out of step with the fanatic love that happens over the rest of the board a place to discuss. It shouldn't be taken so seriously by everyone. There are threads started to discuss the shortcoming of everything Oasis...the fact is that BDI are going to have the deal with it eventually. At some point we have to stop treating them with kid gloves...

the subject is music from soundchecks vs music from an album havent been released yet...dear lord... I believe that the discussion is actually "the songs we've heard so far from BDI" vs "finished versions of songs that were leaked from soundchecks" subtle difference but significant. Finished versions? I don't ever recall Noel once saying those sound checked songs were finished......

The point being it's not about tunes we haven't heard.

I don't think there's any need for the level of comparison between Liam and Noel. At the end of the day, I'd rather listen to Liam's voice on a whole album than Noel's, while I'd rather listen to Noel's songs. At the end of the day I'll take the best of both worlds hopefully without 3 year intervals which ultimately I think is good for any fan. I've loved Oasis for 15 years, so I personally don't see the point in getting into debates between the members' strengths and weaknesses. It's like a divorce, it's over, Liam thinks he's right, Noel thinks he's right, the truth sits somewhere in the middle.

Personally, I don't care at all for those sound checks. They sound the same. And they are so dreary. I hope, if they come to be, that the studio versions are livened up a bit. No idea why people go on about them so much.
The few songs of Noel's "If there's a God" and Liam's "Show Me Your Love" are better and show more potential than these sound checks. Not saying the sound checks will be bad when/if released. I just don't get the hype. Sounds pretty dull in the sound check form.
