Also a band called Mona is releasing their debut on May 16th. They haven't released a mediocre song yet; every one is great.

Not sure if its been mentioned in this thread already, but The Sand Band's album, All Through The Night, is brilliant and well worth checking out my second favourite album of the year after DGSS

The new Pains of Being Pure at Heart album, Belong, can be stramed in their website, and it's excellent, one of the bests I've heard this year, but my favourite right now is PJ Harvey's Let England Shake.

I really didn't like the new Pains of Being Pure At Heart, there's not a single tune on it that I really enjoyed. Whereas their first was full of vibrant energy, the new one kind of just plods along.
The Vaccines debut is pretty underwhelming too.

Haven't been able to find any news for a new album though, but since 2003 he has always released an album every 2 years.

Surely we should be due a new embrace album? In fact, we should probably be due an embrace double album considering how long its taken Embrace are definitely recording a new album - it's been five years since their last one. Apparently, it's a dark and intense album and is considered to be their best one yet according to studio insiders. Will definitely be looking forward to this one - I think Embrace are just fantastic. Drawn From Memory is one of the most beautiful songs of all time. Anyway, other albums I'm looking forward to this year include Coldplay, U2, Fleet Foxes. Would love to see if Blur release any new material also. Maybe, just maybe, a Noel solo album which would be undoubtedly my most anticipated if released this year. It's been very good so far this year - Beady Eye, Erland and the Carnival, REM, Elbow, a few more from where they came from. And it's only March.

I thought it would be out this month? but I'm not so sure anymore. The album is called "Tales of The Unexpected" produced by Edwyn Collins. Hope it'll be out next month. and I'm really looking forward to the Miles Kane's debut album since I saw him last week. He was amazing!
