Remember when the majority of this forum thought it was: "Shake your reptile baby", in The Turning (instead of "rag doll"). LMFAO.

Morning Glory: "All your dreams are made, when you're changed through the mirror of your razor blade". "You know you shout so I guess you might as well".
Not exactly Oasis, but I always thought it was "My eyes have always followed you across the room" instead of around in If I Had a Gun.

I thought, up until today, that Record Machine was:
Help me TO FIND the light that's shining on me. [Instead of "DEFINE"].
Personally, I like my version better.

I'm singing this song, for you and your mum and the dog Little James HAHAHAHAHAHA :hail: Members of the original alt.music.oasis will remember that this was actually a bone of contention at the time. Many actually believed this was the real lyric when the song first leaked. Similarly, there were those who were adamant that the correct lyrics to The Hindu Times were "Cos God gave me his soul in your rock and roll band."

Stepped off the train all alone at dawn Back into the home from where I was born Sun in the sky, never means it's night to me - Dyer Know What I Mean?
For years I was convinced that was correct. Always sung it that way to be honest

This one I didn't get wrong cos it wouldn't make sense, but in the Hindu Times it always sounds to me like
'There's a long, that shines on' instead of 'light'. Weird pronunciation in the singing or just my ears? Lol

"They tell me you need love just like a kid on crack" in The Mexican That surely cannot be the lyric, I refuse to believe it

"They tell me you need love just need a kid on crack" in The Mexican That surely cannot be the lyric, I refuse to believe it The only thing wrong is the second need. That's actually "like"
