"But I'm not your keeper I don't have the key I got a piano I can finally see" I thought it was: I've got a piano I can't find the C. And unfortunately, I was not wrong.

Yup, it's like 'say something ............ 'maybe the dream that we dream are gone ....... 'It's getting better mam' Maybe the songs that we sing are wrong, maybe the dreams that we dream are gone. These are the only bits I can understand, besides "and we're fire in the sky, it's getting better man": Just say the word and I'd be free. And when the stars are shining bright It's getting better man!

Say some din Shoulder from the rooftops of you Heather Merit sort of mean something Make me overstate or I’ll forget her
Beetle here on lives beaches Wish upon the wave that high the sander Rather know that life teaches You to build a castle in your handle
Baby the songs that we sing are wrong Maybe the dreams that we dream are gone Bring it on home and it won’t be long Oh-oh-oh it’s getting better man
Hey wha-whas that you said to me? Juice save the world and Abby free And when the scar a shinin’ bright We’re gettin’ better man
And crushin in upon a whale The spelling on in-on the grail And on the fire in the sky We’re getting better man
Bill something Build a bead or place or call it Homer Evening if it means nothing You’ll never ever feel that you’re a loner

It sounds stupid but I thought the lyric in Some Might Say was 'We will find a bride a day' instead of 'we will find a brighter day'.

It is "and if there's a God, would he give another chancer" though isn't it? Change wouldn't fit at all.

For some reason, I always listen to songs I like and try to improve the lyrics - it's an illness cos it ruins the original in your head.

Maybe I don't really wanna know How you got engrossed!?!? Cus I just wanna fly Thought it said got engrossed for years, was sort of disappointed when I finally realised it said 'Garden grows' Don't even know why, its not like I even ever use that word myself, I just thought it sounded right so went with it. Way off as it turned out. So glad I'm not the only one. Felt like a massive idiot for years for getting this one wrong.

I had real difficulty with (I Got) The Fever for ages.
I used to hear the following:
"I'm tying down a life where my head's alright"
"I can feel it coming in the air tonight and I know, I know, I know"
"Swear I heard my song on the radio"
"As I saw on the breeze"
"I can see the sons of those who came before me"
"What'd you say anyway? We'll not last and the past's in the flesh right there before me"
And I'm still not 100% convinced he sings "I got the fever of a man that I know", which I think is the generally-accepted lyric. Though I haven't a clue what else it could be.

TIOBI:
"I can get a life but my heart's not in it!"
IMO, this makes more sense because the speaker (Noel) is saying that he could work and do something with his life, but just chooses not to.

Cos i've been standing at this spaceship, in need of education in the raiiiinnnnn Surely the big clue was it's supposed to rhyme with education? Standing at this spaceship?!
