LOL, i only just found out from you Nyron that it's not "If it's not our day".
I've never been that huge a fan of DLBIA, so i guess i never looked into it.

I think I speak on behalf of many who thought Don't Look Back In Anger was "If its not our day" instead of night or day. In fact it was only on the last misheard lyrics thread on here that I learned it wasn't! That was when I found out also. I couldn't believe it when I found out. Just out of curiosity, anybody know what Noel sings live? Is it "Not our day" or "night or day"?

And I'm very embarrassed to say I sang "I'll book myself into a soulless island" for many a year for Half The World Away. Until this moment I thought so too

D'Yer know What I mean:
"Stepped off the train all alone at dawn Back into the home from when I was born The sun in sky means it's night to me"
Which I never understood till I realised I heard it wrong

Well there we go - got the entire first verse wrong near enough then Did use to think that verse was about them going back to Manchester via the train

Stand by me: ''Sara wouldn't not believe in one day'' instead of ''Said I would and i'll be leaving one day''
I know it sounds stupid. Specially the wouldn't not thing...

FINALLY. 10 pages later, I've found this thread just so I can say.
I've always thought on Songbird the lyrics were "Shes the little violet in my mind", when I found out it was pilot I said NO-ITS VIOLET DAMNIT. Pilot sounds weird to me.

At the end of Guess God Thinks I'm Abel, I've always thought it was "Come on Noel, let's make it tonight" instead of "Come along." Sounded weird indeed!

In Acquiesce I heard "It sleeps in our asshole" instead of "It sleeps within our soul". Lol!

Champagne Supernova - I've always sung:
Coz you and I, will never die The worlds still spinning round we don't know why..
But recently I'm hearing:
Coz you and I, will live or die The worlds still spinning round we don't know why..

dlbia... "take me to the place where you go, where nobody knows... IF IS NOT OUR DAY...? I always thought that as well. It makes as much sense as the actual lyrics tbh. I also thought it was "the sink is full of dishes" on SMS, not "fishes". Again, it makes as much/more sense.

In Supersonic I always thought it was 'You can be no one else' rather than 'You can't be no one else.'
My version makes grammatical sense and Noel's is a double negative but hey, he's the one with the millions!

I always thought 'selling the Big Issue' was 'Sally let me kiss you'. What Oasis lyrics have you heard wrong?

When I first heard LF I though the chorus went 'You are never gonna Live Forever'

Not Oasis, but I was absolutely sure until a few days ago that in the Led Zep song Misty Mountain Hop Plant sung "hey boy, do you want a scone?" instead of "hey boy, do you want a score?".

When I first heard D'You Know What I Mean? on the radio back in 1997, I was certain Liam was singing about strawberries in the bridge
