I remember when I first heard "Champagne Supernova" I was convinced that the chorus goes: "Someday you will find me company for landslide" You just reminded me. I also heard company. So I heard "Someday you will find me, company the lance line". WTF was wrong with me.

End of DOYAM I initially heard "it's rising over me, cause I'm more talented" and thought it was a pop at Liam

NGHFB - The Good Rebel
Actual lyric: "For every man that will pass scorn on every passer by"
What my brain hears: "For every man that will PAUL SCHOLES on every passer by"
😂😂😂😂

I still hear "if you don't get yours I won't get mine, as well" from SMS as "if you don't get drunk I won't get high, as well."
I heard "my eyes are dead and my throat's like a black hole" in Gas Panic! as "my eyes are dead and my throat's like a Burlap whore."
From MWC way back when I heard it the first few times, we don't use the word 'shite' in America so I heard "your music tried to keep me up all night."
Not lyrics per se, but in Liam's banter from I Am The Walrus I think he's supposed to have said "it doesn't matter if it's out of tune ... it doesn't matter if it's out of tune ... cos you're cool." The best attempt I ever made at putting words to it was "commodity fashions ... well it much better be fashioned ... your cakes."

i sang Songbird for a long time like this; " She's a little pilot in my mind", cause i thought she's a pilot more fit after " Flew me to a past not far away" but noticed it was " She's a little pirate in my mind" anyway she's still a little pilot in my mind Whaaat?

All this time I thought Columbia was "nothing to say to me" turns out it's "nothing's the same to me" The song really isn't the same to me now Also "this is peculiar we don't want to fool ya" as "this is peculiar we don't want to FEEL ya" which confused me for the longest time

I still don't know. At the start of the version of I am the Walrus on The Masterplan. Does Liam say 'It doesn't matter of it's out of tune' or 'It doesn't matter if it's our tune'?

I swear the first time he says out of tune and the second time is our tune. I guess it has to be our tune both times then.

I always thought it went:
Liam: "What? It doesn't matter if it's outta tune.." Noel: "Might help?" Liam: "Doesn't matter if it's outta tune. Cause your cool"
Is it not?

Yeh, Liam clearly enunciates the second time doesn't he?:
It.. doesn't .. matter.. if.. it's out of tune...

It's 'out of tune', not 'our tune'.

I always thought it was "It doesn't matter if it's our tune, it's all cool" as if to say that covering someone else's song isn't a bad thing.
