Personally, I don't see what's so great about Brazil at the moment. In 2006, everyone was raving about them and said they'd win the cup with ease. I bet with my mates that they wouldn't even get to the semi-final. Spain are definitely my tip.
England's chances (without being biased against as I'm a Scot!) are more favourable with Capello at the helm. Capello is definitely capable of winning the World Cup, but are his players? I think they'll get to the semi final - but I just can't see how a team that were so poor less than two years ago can win the World Cup. I don't think there's ever been a case where a team that failed to get to the Euros, went on to win the World Cup two years later. With that in mind, the media should just calm down prior to the events.

congratulations! you have a great team and I'll be cheering for you to make it deep into the tournament Argentina's luck is out of this world. They should be out and even though there's still a chance they won't make it, Palermo's goal put them through.

some stunning goals last night:
Casey is just ice cold on the 2 to 1 and Donovan, what can you say, he bent it like Becks....

scene of the day: watched the game on the internet yesterday and one could hardly see anything because it was raining cats and dogs and the wind almost blew the cameras away ;D! 1-1 in the like 92nd minute 2-1 just few seconds later! maradona celebrating with a dive! epic!

When I saw it I thought of "Free Willy" immediately. He was a brilliant player but he's a horrible person and an even worse coach. It's a pity that such talented players like Messi and Mascherano have to play in a team designed by that guy.

I'd like to see both Argentina and Uruguay going to the WC. Whoever's 5th, will most definitely beat CONCACAF's 4th.
I'm pretty sure Chile, even though they're already qualified, will be very hard for Ecuador...unless Bielsa wants to fuck Argentina up! ;D

Can't believe Fifa have decided to seed the European play-offs, just because the likes of France and Portugal are gonna be in there, what a joke! Hopefully Ireland can get through so I have a team to support.
