Pathetic performance, fucking diabolical. I was the at the pub with some mates and we just fucked off home afterwards because of the intense disappointment, people were throwing chairs and shouting at the TV.

That was brilliant. Best 90 minutes of comedy I've seen since the last Rambo film. England are an embarrassment, tonight was the final nail in the coffin for my opinion of them.
Hesky isn't even fit to wear an Asda shirt let alone an england one. They haven't got a chance of winning the Cup and if they do I'll personally fuckin paddle to South Africa on a bit of driftwood and congratulate them.

USA gets a fucking historic game ripped from them. England continues to disappoint. Germany doesn't get a penalty kick in the goal.
I still can't believe how we (americans) ended up with a tie. I feel bad for you Brits. Under performing, disappointment, and a pretty boring game. The pressure will be tight in group C.

I have a feeling someone will pop up with a goal or two for England on Wednesday.

What a twat. Wayne, do you think you deserve to be cheered for your stunning individual performance? Do you think England deserve to be cheered for their two amazing displays? Oh, right. Wrong adjectives. You play like shit, we'll tell you about it.

At least four Americans tried to find out what the call was. But Coulibaly, who, according to several U.S. players was all but mute during the game (a rarity in world-class games, they say), didn't inform either side what call he made. We still do not know what the infraction was that Coulibaly called, and under the idiotic rules of FIFA, Coulibaly doesn't have to say what the infraction was. He might go to his grave with it. It can't be. But yes, it is. Coulibaly was born on the Fourth of July. Read more: sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2010/soccer/world-cup-2010/writers/peter_king/06/18/slovenia.usa/index.html#ixzz0rEsrbDgDWebby, Maurice Edu plays for Glasgow Rangers - the ref had every right to disallow that goal just for the fact he is a filthy, disgusting hun I have to laugh at all these comments from you England fans - if they win their next game and qualify they will be the greatest thing since sliced bread and are gonna win the whole thing again eh?

what a bullshit call. he was either paid or just hates america. it was that blatant. this better as hell be his last game as a world cup referee. it was incredibly disgraceful. Go back to baseball yer Yanks. Disgraceful. Utterly disgraceful. We deserve to go home. 'ello there, guv'nah! "we?" i thought the americans staged an amazing comeback! you know, there's nothing more pathetic than people trying to be something that they're not. i mean, jesus! not all brits speak like the artful dodger.

Wrong adjectives. You play like shit, we'll tell you about it. Who cares? Anyone who thinks an England team capable of anything but dismal failure is completely fucking delusional. For me, they're simply living up to expectations. I almost hope that, when England are knocked out, the fans and press do get on Rooney's back. It didn't harm United much when they did it to Beckham in 1998. And if the lad's got any sense he'll do what Scholesy did, jack it in and concentrate on playing for a real team, rather than wasting his time and energy for the benefit of the fucking madmen who'll spend two months' wages on a trip to boo England in South Africa.

Still a Man U nob then!! "a real team" ?? he is a corporate monkey!! Have you never heard or grasped the concept of being proud to represent you country in any sport!! It should be the pinnacle of your career!! You truly are a jumped up prick!!! You seem to think he is doing the country a favour by dragging his knuckles around the pitch in south africa. Surely it should be an honour not a chore!!! He earns more in a few hours than some of those fans earn in a year so they are entitled to boo, he needs a to move into the real world much like yourself!!!

Have you never heard or grasped the concept of being proud to represent you country in any sport!! It should be the pinnacle of your career!! You seem to think he is doing the country a favour by dragging his knuckles around the pitch in south africa. Surely it should be an honour not a chore!!! Not when the press and fans burden a half-fit Wayne Rooney with the responsibility of dragging a mediocre England side full of underachievers to the latter stages of a tournament that they've barely a hope of winning, only to nail him to the wall at the first opportunity. Like it or not, I don't believe there's any justification for booing your own players, and as piss-poor as Friday's performance was, if the fans choose to voice their discontent in such a manner then they'll be justly rewarded when England are knocked out by Slovenia on Wednesday. But the simple truth is that, no, I don't respect the national side. I don't respect the players who are chosen to represent England, and I don't respect anyone who'll laud a player as a hero one minute and damn him the next. I have no doubt that, when England fail to achieve whatever it is they're supposed to be achieving, many will take great delight in vilifying that 'corporate monkey' for his failure to perform for fans who are clearly quite eager to tear him to shreds as soon as he ceases to represent our best chance of winning a World Cup. And although I realise that any lower-league fan is apt to dismiss my club's integrity - presumably because it doesn't play its football on a Sunday league pitch - if history and success aren't the measure of a great team then I'd love to know what is.

Supersonic 1983 you truly are a joke, and you epitomise the ignorance of a Man U fan!! I guess you have never ventured outside of Old Trafford, but let me assure you, and this may come as a huge shock BUT lower league clubs do play in stadiums. We no longer play skins and shirts up the local park!!!! We even have referees and lines men!!! You did make me laugh when you talked about Man U and integrity in the same sentence, especially with all the Glazer issues ;D ;D
