Kimi Raikkonen rejects the offer of Toyota, a shame that maybe he'll go to rallyes Hope he doesn't leave F1 - what a waste that would be. I'm not surprised he rejected Toyota though - they have one of the biggest budgets in F1 and have been in the sport for nearly eight years, yet have won diddily squat. We still have the prospect of him re-joining McLaren and teaming up with Hamilton though.

Is true. Maybe someone will buy the team like Ross Brawn did with Honda though. I reckon that Kobayashi guy might end up at McLaren now, that could be the most positive thing to come out of this!

Where did you read that?
I'm not too keen on "Lotus" being in Formula One. The only thing in connection with the Lotus team of old is the name. I'm all for new teams, but giving your team the name of an old team from yesteryear when you have absolutely nothing to do with it seems a bit cheeky. Should be called Team Malaysia or something I reckon.
I'm looking forward to Manor announcing their drivers! Never thought I'd see a South Yorkshire-based F1 team! Even though it's probably going to be renamed "VIRGIN RACING", probably the worst name for any sports team in history. Who's going to want to buy merchandise with VIRGIN written all over it? I hope they keep the Manor name!

Button signs with McLaren, I think he should have stayed with Brawn and Mercedes. I don't see him winning races next year, just some occasional podiums

wow this week has started pretty good on F1 news
Mercedes announces the purchase of Brawn GP, that I think is going to be really good for the show, and no doubt they'll be competitive next year. So, McLaren will be alone in 2011, although they'll be using Mercedes engines until 2015 I think. Jenson goes with Mclaren and Glock is going with Manor (why not Renault, Glock?)

Button signs with McLaren, I think he should have stayed with Brawn and Mercedes. I don't see him winning races next year, just some occasional podiums I'm going to wait and see just how fast the MP4-25 is compared to the competition before I make any predictions! Button at McLaren, fantastic. I've been waiting almost 10 years for that news. Glock is going with Manor (why not Renault, Glock?) Probably because Renault are undecided if they should continue in the sport or not. Good decision I think. I wonder if Anthony Davidson will get the other seat. In 2011 I hope Stefan Wilson will be a Manor driver - a Sheffield driver driving for a Sheffield team! He just had a promising test for McLaren so with any luck he's gonna be on the market after his spell in the US. Fuck I'm missing Formula One. Only 113 days to go before it all kicks off again!

It's looking more likely by the day apparently. And yes, I would like to see Villenueve back (although I don't think much of his talents at the moment!) because that would mean 5 world champions on the grid if I'm correct, including Schumacher.

In the end of 2008, Patrick was scheduled to test for Formula One team Honda in November 2008,[17] however this was ultimately called off due to the Honda F1 pullout.[18] Future American F1 team Team US F1 has allegedly considered testing Patrick for 2010.[19] However, she has stated that she has not been contacted by anyone from the new American-based Formula One team and has no plans to leave the IndyCar Series for Formula One at this time.
