I'd love to see Barrichello win at least one race this year. Shame about what happened today. Anybody else going to Silverstone in a couple of weeks?

I don't think they'll break away, but the FIA have to make compromises for the sake of the sport. This is going to turn into a disaster if they all go their seperate ways - this happened in America when teams formed their own championship after leaving Indy Car, and we don't have to mention how tits up that went.

Although a huge Button fan, it would be great to see Vettel make a fight for the championship. Is this a turning point for the season?

Cheers!
MG - definitely try and get to a Grand Prix at some point. It's not cheap but the whole experience is just something else.
And bring your own food, unless you want to pay about £12 for a sandwich.

Just when we thought we had three weeks off from all the politics, FOTA members walk out of a meeting with the FIA.
Still, three weeks feels like an eternity - i'm gagging for a bit of F1. Oh well, not long to wait.
Like MG, going to an F1 race is on my 'to do' list aswell. Seriously need to get to one - I'm 18 now and I've been following F1 religiously since I was 10, so it's about time me thinks.

Read in the news that John Surtees son, Henry was killed in an F2 race on Sunday. What a terrible terrible shame.

poor Massa, he was hit on the head by an object and lost control. that was a huge crush! Shit I know. He's in intensive care - please Lord, let him be alright. As for the race, Alonso has surely got it - there's nowhere to overtake on that circuit. It's good to see him back on pole, despite me not being a fan - first pole for Renault since China 06 would you believe it!

schumacher is a legend. and with the current generation of f1 drivers being as skilled as they are, i think we're in for some tasty races.
and after alonso took schumachers championship away i'd like to see schumacher beat him. always hated alonso - not only for that, but for that whole mclaren saga last year .
