Compared to Lewis, Jenson's just a much more likeable person. I'd love it if he had success this year. And everyone loves Barrichello!

the old Barrichelo is back I've been listening for years to experts saying f1 was a difficult sport, they needed loads of money, simulators, great engineers teams, etc etc a team losses his sponsor, changes a part of the car and suddenly has the most dominant cars in years. this reminds me of little football teams defeating giants it's so exciting!

Whats everyones opinions on the proposed change for the points system?
Im not keen on it to be honest. Glad they didnt vote it in for this year. Hopefully they'll realise that it wont work and forget it for next year.

Whats everyones opinions on the proposed change for the points system? The only person in the world who thinks it's a good idea is Bernie Ecclestone. Annoyingly, that's all that's needed for the change to happen. He knows nobody wants the change, so why is he so determined to piss everyone off? Alonso did a good job of summing up everyone's thoughts: www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/73905

Button and Barrichello - my two favourite drivers in a team run by Ross Brawn in the best car. Cannot get better than that. Thing is, both drivers deserve it. Not once did either of them moan when they kept being given shit cars by the God awful Honda.

Thing is, both drivers deserve it. Not once did either of them moan when they kept being given shit cars by the God awful Honda. Exactly. They're two genuine, honest, likeable professionals who always present themselves well to the media when in difficult situations. It seems uncool these days for racing drivers to be gentlemen. There's no Alonso-ish bitching, no Hamilton-like stubborn defensiveness - they say the right things and just get on with it. I know I'll be up bright 'n' early hoping for a Brawn GP 1-2!

I really don't see why everyone is lambasting him so much. This sport is riddled with unfair tactics and liars. Same as any other sport.
'His reputation will never recover'. Really? Isn't Schumacher the only driver to be disqualified from a World Championship? I definitely don't see his reputation in tatters.
David Coulthard has even said that the people need to realise that fibbing does go on when talking to stewards if you want to come off with the right result.
He has apologised, which did come a bit late admittedly. I watched it and im pretty sure he won't be doing it again anytime soon.

well, he lied, his lie made Trulli get penalised, he lied again, and only when it's really clear he's a cheater, goes out and says "it wasn't my fault, they told me to" he's the current champion of the world and has acted like a stupid. It has not other name: radio conversations were recorded, he said the truth to press before lying to stewards, when stewards had heard the conversations he kept lying... and all for what?? to get JUST 1 more point and fuck Trulli. That's a big pain for the image of F1, the champion lying worse than a 5 years old kid IMO his image is right now something like he'd do anything, even cheating and fucking other drivers, just to get one more point. But hey, he's done what he wanted for 2 years with his "daddy" Dennis and even stewards help, maybe that's made him think he's beyond good and evil and his father saying they could leave for another team... wasn't he McLaren's hero? cheaters should be penalised in any sport

Vettel has his Red Bull there up, he's the only one who is facing Brawn, Toyota and Williams. he's gonna be a gret one and Alonso got new pieces just a day before, and he was so close to pole position! that shows he's the best driver in the moment how long will it take Montezemolo to fire half Ferrari? ;D

This must be the shittest F1 season ever, I mean, Button is going to win the championship, well, better said, his car is going to win, he's not even in the drivers top 5.

This must be the shittest F1 season ever, I mean, Button is going to win the championship, well, better said, his car is going to win, he's not even in the drivers top 5. Bollocks, bollocks and more bollocks. Did you see how Button actually won Monaco? His smooth natural driving style preserved the tyres longer than they should have - Barrichello and Vettel destroyed theirs within a few laps. The fact Button could do this proves how class he is. Button has never had the car under him. He's had shit teams under him all the time that always promised more. 2004 was the only time he had a decent car, and he finished 3rd in the championship. Considering he came behind the Ferrari's (my granny could have won the title with that car), he was the best of the rest. This is the first time he's ever had a really good car under him. Alonso and Hamilton are the best drivers in F1, but Jenson is definitely in the top 5. Even Ross Brawn said he's one of the best drivers he's ever had working for him, and he worked with Schumacher. Ross Brawn knows much more than us so he must be right.

I like Button, he's a good guy, but I don't think he's on top5. Alonso, Hamilton, Kubica, Vettel or Massa are better imo. but it's the same as usual on this sport, the car is 90% (the car, engineers, team...), even Nakajima would win some race if he was on Brawn.

Seriously, I have watched Button from the start and I have had no doubts that he has the qualities to win a championship. Last year, I always thought he was championship winning material, but I thought his time was up because he would never get a good car. This is the first time in his whole career where he has a championship winning car. I agree that Hamilton and Alonso are the best drivers in F1, but Jenson is definitely in that top 5. He's better than Vettel at the moment (mainly due to experience), miles better than the overrated Kubica and better than Massa - certainly hasn't made awful awful errors on the track like Massa in his career. Hamilton, Alonso, Raikonnen, Button and Vettel are by far the best drivers in F1.

Nakajima is not very good at all. Do you seriously believe he's better than Barrichello - a proven race winner who has yet to win in the Brawn car? It's one thing having a good car, but you have to have the right driver for it.
