First off, who's going? Secondly, who is familiar with how it's (the All-State Arena) is set-up for a concert? I looked on their page and see the floor broken into sections, but I want to make sure this isn't a "general admission" affair. It looks like we'd want "section one and rows starting with double letters Exp: AA is row one. It says the first set of rows start with double letters in the lower sections to the left and right, can anyone confirm this for the floor section ONE? I want to know what I should be looking for when the pre-sale starts in an hour or so. I tried calling the Arena, but they're closed.
thanks...and hopefully, see you there!!! cheers!

online only sales are such a scam.. they are so fixed and altered to benefit the band and scalpers.

If you're ordering through Ticketbastard you should definitely set up an account so you can grab your tickets faster. All of your info will already be filled in. Don't want to lose your tickets cause of their 2 minute time limit to fill out your info.

allstate is not GA... they don't explain very well how the floor sections are broken up. it does say that they 100 level sections start with double lettered rows from AA-FF, then A-R. i would guess that the floor is the same way, but who knows? it'd be nice if there was a more detailed way to see exactly where your seats would be... always a guess with ticketmaster.

I can live with the first fifteen rows or so.

I'm not too pleased w/ them playing at Allstate. Sound has always been shitty there and it's too far from the city. Who wants to hang out by O'Hare for after-parties? Even worse, who wants to have to be a Designated Driver...
Wish they woulda played the United Center....

presales for places like the garden are just a trick.. they have a plan to sell out that place.. they don't start row 1 and go back.. majority of seats are the shit ones no one wants.

Anyone got any tips on how to get 4 tickets (sitting together) in decent areas?
The last couple concerts I've gotten nosebleeders because I've wanted more than 2.
Any other general tips on ways to get in quick @ 10am?

Caro, couldn't you have at least waited for another 45 minutes to move this post? We're all trying to get decent seats here and no one is going to even see this thread now.
With all the other GARBAGE threads, you'd think this one could've maybe 'made the cut'.
Jeez.

Just got Section 103, row F.
Looks like pretty good tickets. It's up front and stage right, so I'm hoping we'll get a nice view.
$80 each w/ service and bullshit fees.....pricey. But Oasis AND Ryan Adams is a top notch bill.

I needed four (kinda screwed of course), but I'm on the floor in sec 3, row 25. Not bad, as it REALLY is 25 rows from the stage (sec 1 is the first ten rows and sec 1&2 are 11 on back). I'll keep an eye on ebay and such to see if I can better them in the next two months.

BTW, is section 103, row f decent? I haven't been to Allstate since it was Rosemont Horizon for a WWF thing back in mid - 90's...ha ha

Tell your teacher/instructor there is an emergency or something and that you need to take it beforehand. If you give them enough notice, you should be ok.
I've done that before when I was in college. Better yet, if you're honest about it, and tell them now, and they see you're pretty passionate, they should let you go.
