Shoeless Joe's is by far the best bar out there. The other bars are more restaurant-ish, or complete dive bars.
I've confirmed 8 coming, including me.
I think we should get a count, and see if we can get some kind of drink special w/ wristbands....
Lemme know.

idk about gettin these drink specials... having reserve us a place to sit would be a good idea, but if we do this drink thing, and som e people don't end up showing up, then the rest of us will get stuck payin more. I don't know about you guys but i don't have a whole hell of alotta money to spend.

OK. Columbian, as I said a few days ago, that's kinda the plan (calling ahead to propose a "deal"). It's your hood brother so if you want to negotiate this thing when we get a number together I'll gladly pass the baton. I'm willing to help with anyhting so let me know.
I have NINE jerk-offs in my clan. That's nine for certain.
Columbian, you bringing anyone?
Oasisrgods is obvioulsy down...total head count there?
Everyone else: please post when you have an all-but DEFINITIVE number.
Let's try to get this somewhat finalized in the next couple of weeks so I (or whoever) can get the ball rolling.
nice.

I don't know about you guys but i don't have a whole hell of alotta money to spend. Easily handled. It's 2008, I'd like to think people either have or have access to a Pay Pal account? We get a headcount, get a per-person total and everyone paypals/mails/what have you's the funds in advance or they're out. Simple as that. We can likely get webby to confirm personal info regarding Columbian (or me?) and go from there. This can be very streamlined, affordable, and balls-deep fun if people keep their heads on straight. Personally, I have plenty of money and I'm not into skewering a bunch of fans of my favorite band for a few hundred bucks. Dead honest, there.

Besides, what can happen many times, is that our "special" is contingent upon a certain number of people arriving/bill total. If we don't put up our "end" we just pay regualr price. These are things that can be worked out and aren't worthy of any headaches just yet.
Let's see where this ends up, first. I'd say at least 25-30 before we start getting ahead of ourselves with any "group rates".

just glancing over the thread quick, with mine, perhaps columbians clique and others here, it appears we're over 20, so that's a good start.

I can CONFIRM 8, with the possibility of 12. But 8 for sure. And my friends that will be attending are, as they say 'Madferrit', which means a hefty supply of booze will be needed. Livers of steel.... So, I'm not sure about drink specials, but let's get a good idea of the # of peeps first, then I'll call to enquire about the possibility. If it comes down to it, we'll all just fucking go there beforehand and afterwards, without the drink special. It's gonna be an expensive night for me anyway; I'm thinking easily $200-$250 for (1) Tix (2) Limo fare, (3) Booze at show (4) Booze at bar (5) eight ball j/k

Well, we can cross the "drink/food special bridge when we get to it. It can't hurt to try...it appears that a group of 20 is an all but certainty, so any addtional heads will only help the cause. Let's see where we are in a a week or two.
Anyone else? Please make it known here.
Later.

I will be across the street at McDonald's. From the looks of your avatar, and general demeanor on here....you'll probably be across the street at the forest preserve parking area, if you catch my drift... ;D

I'm thinking of leaving Milwaukee around NOON, seeing we likely can't check into our hotel before 3 or 4 anyway. I'd say my crew and I would be there around 4.
