oh awesome thanks  I looked a Chicago one at it said "few snow showers" for the 11th. I think I will be okay..its two hours from NY and our flight is in the morning, as long as were at the gig by nine I'll be okay  |

does anyone know the weather in Chicago is like in December?..we're flying in the day of the show, I am terrified of being delayed  Chicago winter weather is terrible - can come at any time. What airport are you flying into? Midway is more likely to delay flights than O'Hare, so hopefully you're flying into O'Hare... |

It looks like were flying into to Detroit then to Midway But it looks all clear for Detroit on the 11th so worst comes to worst we'll rent a car and drive to Chicago  |

Hey friends-
Just got some terrible news yesterday...mom has lung cancer and she almost certainly doesn't have a lot of time.
Just want to let people know that I MAY have some floor seats avail last minute (next few days?). It just depends on her prognosis, which we'll learn more about in the next couple of days. If she's rested and stable, I will likely end up going, as I've already cancelled my trip to Vegas this weekend for the show at the Pearl. I just wanted to throw the possibility out there for people to check in if they need tix last minute.
People: love your family and friends with everything you have, because cancer and the other evils of world surely don't care about them or your schedule.

Thanks a lot for your well-wishes. It's funny what you learn about cancer the more you read about it...especially regarding the "lethalness" of it. Over 90% of those diagnosed with lung cancer die within twelve months. 90%. Almost half within 3. . While it's true that there are cancers that can be "cured" and combatted for long terms (especially when detected early), it is shocking to learn just how much we still don't know about many of them. At any rate, I don't want to take over this thread with my unfortunate news. I appreciate everyone's good will...it's good to know even "electronic" buddies have concern and empathy for their fellow e-man. You do everything you can do and that is all you can do. We're going to have a great time in TEN days! My mom already has tickets to a MUCH bigger show...with all due respect to our lads. |

you guys/gals fucking rule. It appears now to be kidney cancer that has matasticized (moved to her lung). Oddly enough, GOOD news, as it's much more "treatable" than bonifide lung cancer. So we'll see.

So I was just checking out the LA gigs Pre- and Post- party, and it looks pretty badass. Especially the part about all Oasis tunes from 5-8 and then again 11pm onwards...ha haha. THAT is cool. What's the interest level in getting something like that going for the Allstate show? And, if interested - how many people total will you be with? 8 days!  |

he has back-up though ;D beers and that before hand yeh ? i am coming all way from bonnie scotland for this and its gonna fucking snow sort it america ;D will be good meet yous all so can have that warm feeling of making new friends btw i fly into o'hare get there about 2.15 chicago time i think only pain of flight is from canada to new york have to change at toronto all worth it though see the lads before xmas |
