There is some obvious bullshit i agree like john cena, but why do you feel the need to respond over pages and pages when it is quite obviouly shit. This may not be, why hasn't it been move in to the playpen? You're delusional if you think there's even the slighestt bit of truth in this thread, or in anything this clown has said for that matter. You know someone is lying when they can't keep their own story straight (hence why criminals get found out) 1.) I listened to the album once, I can't remember anything 2.) I don't know any lyrics 3.) Here's the lyrics for "Soldier On" 4.) I have all the lyrics to each song, but won't release them 5.) TSOTL is catchy but doesn't have much of a chorus 5.) I can't remember how the catchy part of TSOTL goes ^ What an utter mess of contradictions Now lets sum up everything that's wrong with this specific thread: 1.) "Unused" Review - Thus we can NEVER verify it, so he attempted to cover his own ass from the get go 2.) Spelling Errors - Zack instead of Zak, 'Y' instead of 'y' etc....A journalist at RS wouldn't even have made those errors, and if they did would have caught them when they read it over 3.) Poorly Written: There's not one single point - A review needs to have points, to have an argument, 3a.) Poorly Written: No Conclusion - The review doesn't even have a conclusion. It's not even a review then! It's just random sentences strung together -> lacks direction, lacks a purpose. A journalist at RS hasn't written this, because I know that I could do even better, and I'm still in College. 4.) He just said he's gonna post another "unused review" (may have already done so before Im able to post this)....I wonder why that is? hmm....Because he's obviously writing it right now.... LDNMN can keep spreading his lies, but what adds fuel to the flame is how people like you try to keep an open mind in thinking he may be credible. You know deep down he isn't so say it. And if you do believe him, then you're clearly not thinking properly. Once again i'm not saying its either true or false infomation, i dont know that and you dont know that. And in regards to your 4 points: 1.I would struggle to remember that much about an album on one listen. 2.With just one listen, i would find it hard to remember anything definate. 3&4. Valid questions. 5&5. TSOL may not have a big chorus, and again on one listen i would struggle to describe the particular's of a song. Please tell me though why are these topics not in the playpen? Even when they have degenerated into petty name calling by people like you.

An "unused" review .... From the title, it's already fun.

Even when they have degenerated into petty name calling by people like you. So you're judging the credibility based on Webby/Mod's decision of what goes in the playpen rather than paying attention to the content of the original poster, rather than thinking for yourself? Further more, my point about his lyrics inconsistencies isn't that he can't remember them - the problem is that he's contradicted himself: He first said he didn't know any lyrics, then he posted lyrics to Soldier On (most likely made up) as well as claiming he has ALL the lyrics, then only to backtrack again saying he doesn't know the lyrics to the "catchy" part in TSOTL ^^ YOU EITHER HAVE THE LYRICS OR YOU DONT......So he's already lied one way or another based on those contradictions. And again, if you truly believe that some one at RS wrote this, then you don't know much about writing either. Someone said it wouldn't be good marketing if the boss read this shit review and then leaked it. - Valid point. But it's deeper than that: If the boss read such drivel, the person would be fired ASAP. It's THAT bad. PS: ITS BEEN PLAY PENNED NOW - IS THAT ENOUGH TO CONVINCE YOU? ffs

I've said in my last post that I dont know whether its true or false. Webby said anything put up he would try to find out its credabillity. He obviously knows people so yes i will defer to his judgement rather than yours. Lets have another essay then L.4.E!

Off topic? How is discussing the merits of the review, on the basis of the review and the poster, not on topic?

That's such a bad review. I don't mean that it sounds like whoever wrote it gave it a bad review, I mean it's poorly written. The "review" is all over the place, and doesn't reach any sort of conclusion. I can see why it would be "unused" However, that's not enough, the person should be fired for making such a terrible effort. But oh, wait, what's that? This is completely irrelevant because no one at RS wrote this. This was written by our feeble "friend" LordIMakeUpReviewsNow. How convenient it was "unused" seeing that no one will ever be able to verify and, and let's not forget it really is a poor article. Get a life mate. I, for once, concur entirely with L4E. Get a life, you sad case.

Hey...I'm a bit of a troller, watching and reading these threads...but I have to ask, what is the purpose of getting all in a tussle over LDNMN's claims?? If you don't believe him, then don't bother. Their are plenty of other topics here worth reading and responding to, etc...
As for his claims? Right now, they're just that - his claims, because unless you have the album for yourself and are able to hear it, then you can never be 100% sure! But realistically, especially when you compare his tone of writing versus some of the other knobs on here...he has been fairly level-headed with his disclosures. He hasn't taunted, etc. If he has information that's ready to be revealed, then fine. Who cares what his motivations are...for those that believe, or accept his believability, then we're having fun at it.
Course...if he has a copy of the new single...I mean, I'd be grateful if he'd, you know, share it with moi! hehehe
BTW - as for spelling/grammar issues...for the record, I work in publishing, and it's standard practice to vet copy through a designated proof checker. you'd be surprised how poor some copywriter's skillz are!

You, or your "friend" suck at writing:
As I sat down to hear the new album by Oasis I can honestly say that I did not expect much. The fact is, their last three albums (Don’t Believe The Truth, Heathen Chemistry, and Standing On The Shoulder Of Giants) were nothing to write home about. The Gallagher brothers known for their on and off stage fighting, trick you with their new album, “Dig Out Your Soul.” The opening track, “Bag it Up”, comes at you with a drum and bass line right out of the Chemical Brothers, which is the closest you’ll find that this is not an ordinary Oasis album.
With guitarist Gem Archer and Bassist Andy Bell filling their roles nicely, Noel Gallagher has allowed them to write the two best songs on the album. “Waiting for the Rapture” is by far the strongest song on the album. As Liam sings “I’m waiting for the rapture alone in my soul tonight” you find yourself thinking “who is this great band?” The sharing of vocal duties on “Dig Out Your Soul” again shows you that Oasis’s best singer may just be Noel. The song “Falling Down” shows some of his best song writing efforts in years.
Dave Sardy’s presence is strongly felt as song after song reveals stronger and stronger bass lines from Any Bell. Drumming on “Dig Out Your Soul” is done by Zak Starkey(yes that’s Ringo’s son). And by the way, what’s an anti war song doing on the album? -------- 1.) Spelled band members name wrong 2.) Capitalized random letters 3.) Don't know how to use a semi-colon 4.) Don't know how to use commas ---------
All you did was put in every single cliche-review phrase, in addition to the poor puncuation:
"Nothing to write home about" "Didn't expect much" "Song after song" "Best song writing in years"
^ Just use those phrases as a template, and you have a review of anything really. ----------
Furthermore, the world choice is horrible to along with the cliches:
"Comes at you" -- That's not professional writing!!! "Shows" - stop using that, try "Depict" or "Demonstrate"
----------
So, learn punctuation (especially how to use commas), stop using cliches, and use better diction while adding more substance to the article and an actual conclusion and you'll have a decent review.
So come back with your other "unused review" with this in mind, it'll make for a more believable story.
And after going into detail here, I've come to the conclusion you're not out of HighSchool yet, let alone college. But even the common High Schooler knows this (at least if we're talking about a Private High School....)
