I agree. Its 11 new tunes. That's all you can ask for. This forum is full of whiny bitches. Spot on Can you blame us?? Liam can't be arsed to sing at concerts and they claim best ever since DM.

I remember Noel once saying before DBTT came out"Someone came up to me and told me the songs sound like b-sides off of DM"
Well you got the B-sides part right.

This forum seems to be full of people who hate Oasis, and everyone else who is a fan of the band. Strange...

I hope to god it's not DBTT part 2. I kind of expect it to be darker than DBTT. I also expect less poppy songs and more songs like Morning Glory (song). But also in the sense I think it will have a lot of the same orchestration as Be Here Now, but in a much more focused manner.

Run into Liam from the Courteeners recently? Jay-sus, if I ever run into that c*nt... "So... I'm a bit like Morrissey, me." "Well, not really. Morrissey is a visionary songwriter, whose well-honed combination of wit and intelligence allowed him to write inspirational, emotive, and passionate lyrics. You, on the other hand, are a complete and utter fucking dullard." "Tea and toast?" I've been told I look like him a few times, though. Which has actually proved useful on a couple of occasions.

The thing that gets me scared is the 20 second clip on TSOTL. It sounds a bit like the ending to Lyla. Not this again To me, the clip sounds like a cross between the ending to Lord Don't Slow Me Down and a "Zak Starkey" Rock 'N' Roll Star (live) ending - kinda drug out, but if it suits the song, then so be it.

Oasis are the band we all love to hate, but trust me this new album is going to surprise a lot of people, its really really good and pretty different from what Oasis have done before. Waiting For the Rapture and The Nature of Reality are amongst the best things Oasis have ever produced..the album promo arrives next week or the week after that, i heard a 5 track sampler. - this is from other forum ...

one guy in the office said the album is all made up of Bring it on downs, mucky fingers', and 2 nice acoustic songs I don't think you people need to worry about the little Mucky Fingers comparison. Supposing for a moment this is true, this isn't bad. A "Mucky Fingers" on this album would be a Columbia. The two major differences between the songs are the rhythm and guitar solos. Noel has said this album is groovy, so I doubt that the songs would have annoying 8th note rhythms. Take out the rhythm and what do you have? Three notes. And if we're assuming LDNMN is telling the truth, the more guitar solos bit would also be true. Three notes with a bunch of guitar solos sounds a lot like Columbia. Maybe I'm just optimistic, but this is how I see it. And if there are some "Bring it on Down" songs on here, well, Bring it On!
