Are you referring to Let There Be Love? Ya, i know it aint their best but come on, first time you heard the noel vocal bit it was just mega. It's weird some days i'm so excited about this album, that i believe it will be a world-wide mega hit. Then other days i'm excited but wary as talk of mucky fingers like tunes being on it surfaces. I think there will be great songs on it but i'm worried about the 'filler'. If DOYS is HC part2... Ho If DOYS is HC part II... I give up with oasis |

Nothing that Noel or anyone has said has even suggested that it is DBTT part 2 so think people are getting bit worked up over nothing

i love DBTT. it takes multiple dumps on HC and SOTSG. and a minor turd on BHN. but i want something new. and i'm not really worrying about this anyway.

I anticipate some people coming back with DOYS the first week and just bitching about how it's got that "new" DBTT sound to it. When in mind, I think most of that is just the drumming of Zak. He has such a different style than Alan, and it definitely does change their sound. So don't go blaming it all on Dave Sardy as I'm sure most of you will. Producers get far too much blame when it comes to some stuff.

i can confirm that falling down is much much different then the chem bros remix(obviously its not an oasis dance song on the album) but its much, much slower and the piano is in the song Nice one. |

Don't Believe The Truth was a strong, solid and mature album... Yes thats true.. but its also quite bland in places and lacked any kind of swagger that you'd want from an Oasis record |

Critics had to call it a return to form because its been soo long since Oasis released anything consistant. DBTT was bland minus 3 or 4 songs

Bring It On down is my least favourite song on DM. Mucky Fingers is my least favourite on DBTT. Oh shit?
Also, I am expecting Soldier On to kick the shit out of LTBL, be better than AATW, SCYHO and Roll It Over and potentially rival Champagne Supernova and Slide Away, if you were to classify those songs as the same type, from each album.

DBTT wasn't "mature". it was just a solid album. people say it didn't have swagger, but i think it's what got em their swagger back. HC is such a piece of lazy crap. the only lazy sounding tracks to me are keep the dream alive and a bell will ring. they sound like they belong on HC. sometimes it sounds like people care more about the image than the music.

DBTT was more boring than anything. I doubt hugely this will ''DBTT part 2'' The fact Noel said is more focused around the ''groves'' and less ''songy'' is proof of that.

DBTT was better than 90% of all the bands that had albums in '05.
