The thing that gets me scared is the 20 second clip on TSOTL. It sounds a bit like the ending to Lyla. Not this again lol. I thought I was the only one who thought that! But let's keep in mind that Noel did say that TSOTL was the only typical Oasis song on the album. So hopefully the rest of the album will be a pretty fresh sound. This is also off topic, but how many more times will Noel use the term 'blow my mind' in his lyrics. He used it for Lyla, Falling Down, and another song on DBTT that I can't think of at the moment because I have to go shit . . . |

LOL.
I get real kick outta all the DBTT slagging... FFS, I bet all of yas had a stiffy back in the summer of '05 saying how fucking great it was... Now 75% say it was "dull" or "bland" or whatever.... For most the same thing will take place this time around I bet... Praising DOYS for about a year, then pissing on it after that...
I think DBTT had a couple tunes that stand up with Oasis best work... (well maybe only TIOBI stands that tall...).
Fact is, I'm afraid that we'll never get another DM or WTS... And by that I'm not referring to the overall sound or song types of those records.. I mean an album that flows from track one right til the end...
Having 4 guys writing songs separately will prevent that type of album from happening again...
I think the next time that we'll all stand up and cheer will be when Noely G. finally records and releases his solo effort. Blast away...
