Yeah, I've been saying that for years. I hope they go a bit more experimental with the next producer while they're young-ish. We all know when they are 60 they will be churning out crappy blues or acoustic stuff so they may a s well try something new now. I nominate these names for next time round: Death In Vegas, Chemical Brothers, Unkle, Jagz Kooner, Owen Morris... |

i totally disagree on bringing in a producer that'll polish their sound. you try to overproduce oasis and you'll get SOTSG and HC. no thanks. no soul in HC. imo Sardy saved the last album. if it was produced by Death In Vegas like originally, it wouldn't have been nearly as good.

Not what I'm saying at all.... Owen Morris had Oasis rocking way more than Sardy does, and there were no shit guitar tones etc... and that was with inferior gear to what they use now. I'm up for MORE raw sounding but the specifics come with mic placement, recording method (2" tape vs. Pro Tools), EQ, compression etc. Sardy is an American FM radio style producer who gets some cool sounds, but overall there are just some elements to his work with Oasis that I don't like... |
