I'm feeling slightly underwhelmed.
Stop The Clocks doesn't really go anywhere, does it? And that outro isn't quite as magical as people are making it out to be. Record Machine, that's a slightly better tune. Still feels like it's missing something, though. And They Ain't Got Nothing On Me? It's a bad The Meaning Of Soul. Which isn't saying much.
Still, I expect (and hope) they'll all sound much better once they've had the proverbial kitchen sink thrown at them. Orchestras, choirs, all that shite.
The best thing that's come out of this leak is Lord Don't Slow Me Down - a track we've already heard, but with Liam on vocals. Big whoop.

have a feeling STC is a grower... havent heard it yet so much to tell... but i think its class also record machine...
i agree with you about LDSMD great liam vocals.. some people are saying Noel should go solo,, and that liam only sings on weak tracks,, i think the point his singing less on noel tracks that are the best tracks cause his the best songwriter in the band.. but when he sings on Noel's tracks thats Oasis at its best... see LDSMD
cheers

Stop the Clocks is majestic, although you're right in saying Record Machine is better, and that it's missing something. 3mins longer, RM will be incredible... STC Outro is fantastic, are you kidding me? I prefer Nothing on Me to Meaning of Soul anyday STC: 10/10 RM: 10/10 Nothing on Me: 7/10 This has made me even more excited for the album. This is EXACTLY what I wanted from Oasis.

It's intriguing, I'll say that. Promising change of direction.

LDSMD is worth the leak alone ;D
Give the others a bit more time they are very special songs imo.......NOM is actually an evil little song, early demo, I would say, but I think with some production and work could be very rocky and class!

I agree with most on Record Machine. Top tune. STC is definitely growing on me now. I love TMOS and do slightly prefer it at the minute to Nothing On Me to be honest. I think Nothing On Me sounds a bit more like Eyeball Tickler.
Think I'm on my own though in that I prefer the Noel sung LDSMD

I've been right about every claim i've made so far because i've thought things through. It's not hard to see that these two songs will make the album. How they tweak the final versions is anybodys guess, though

none of these songs are going to be on the record more than likely. so be lucky we have them at all. you could be right about that,, however i think rm WILL be on it, last track, especially now that we know noel sings the stc lyric at the end (however subject to change that, since it is a demo),, more of a stc tease from noel but look at it this way people: say these 3 are NOT on the album,, that means we get these 3 high quality demo, PLUS then another 11-12 amazing tunes on top of those sounds like a win-win if you ask me

It's pathetic. No one has STCs, simple as. And who the fuck cares about these demos? They are demos of studio tracks that we have. Put it in the Sound section where it belongs, because it's not newsworthy. awesome tit

Stop The Clocks and Record Machine is simply amazing. Nothing on me doesn't really do it for me and I can see why it got scrapped from DBTT, it would fit maybe as an b-side but no album track. I would love to see Record Machine and STC on the new album though, they would be epic with orchestras and choirs. Really sad it seems like it won't happen

I don't know how anyone can say rm isn't an absolute classic. I was just listening to it in the car, and when noel sings that last verse after the solo, it put's a smile on my face unlike any oasis song since bhn/mg
and i can understand why some are underwhelmed by stc, even though i love it, b/c it is an extremely unusual sounding song, but i would think you would be able to appreciate it even if you weren't completely into it- and the outro is just so great

Everyone on here was suspect of the STC info and the lyrics and all that. So we are all tits. But when proved wrong, not everyone turns around and says 'im always right' and then confounds it by arrogantly saying 'because i thought things through'.... as if the rest of us are all sitting here like a thousand monkeys at a thousand typewriters

To be honest, if there hadnt been so much hype around STC would anyone really think its that good?
I mean come one, imagine it alongside DBTT B sides like Sitting Here In Silence..., thats where it belongs

And why the fuck are people saying that these wont make the album? Are you stupid? You have nothing to base that off of. If anything, theres a better chance it WILL be on the album.

Noel once said they had 6 or 7 version s of STC. I'm hoping that if they get to release it it will be a different version. this one's good but not as great as it could be and I think it's a bit of the the same old tricks. It's not memorable but it clearly has potential.
I like NOM. the tune is great but the lyrics are very weak. almost little james weak. I hope it's a b-side.
RM is absolutely great! but I think it could be much greater if recorded and produced properly.
What gives me hope is that apparently there will be a lot of electric guitar on this album which could make these songs great, cos right now they sound like they were recorded on the same session they did LTBL and that's not very good. These songs have huge potential but they have to get it right on the studio. On these demos they didn't get them right but I'm sure they will

thank god someone is not wearing the rose colored classes.
stc is a grower.. however any song you hear 20 times in a row is grower, great songs aren't "growers".. wonder didn't grow on me, it slammed in the face.
record machine is the best one hands down.
nothing on me, i listened once and can't even waste my time to hear again, its garbage.
