well if you do at least share it with me, be most appreciated, after all there alot of people on here "shootin " us down and all i'm saying is he truth glad that finally someone along these forums actually knows that that night did exist Thanks, bud. We have to keep in touch for sure. With all this bitterness, I was ready to jump ship, but you steadied it a bit for me. Drop me a PM with your e-mail address. It's cool to meet somebody else from the Liverpool area. I live halfway around the world, but I know so many people there now. Yeah the image is from Angry Ape's photographer at Zanzibar and my signature is from the bootleg art I made up 3 to 4 years ago. By the way, mick, a buddy of mine was at the Zanzibar that night and took some good photos of Noel that night, which have never been seen before. He's having them printed up soon, so I'll let you know as soon as I've got them.

oh yeah one thing you forgot to mention that at the time Franny Jeffers an ex Everton player to those who dont know him was at th gig ( by the way Everton are a football team) and Noel went upto him an took the piss after he played the gig, Franny left right away as he was very embarrased so had to leave. Anyway coz me two bro's were there that night and one of my bro's joined him an the band on stage i think i have more of a clue that happened that eve so i think he's tellin the truth. By the way Lomax i asked my bro about the recording and he said that one of the band have a copy, since then the Bandits have split but the thinks he can get me it

i think he has got it, because its too detailed he has described everythin that happened that night i dont think its bullshit. Cos it's so hard to make up a story, right? Just shows what a loser this guy is - or whoever wrote it read the thread from the start

Why are some people now worried about copyright law on live bootlegs all of a sudden?
In case you missed it, there's a whole section here filled with live recordings.
If you've got a copy of the gig, put your money where your mouth is!!

Mick, thanks for your PM and e-mail address. You made an amazing point I had not thought of. Anyway, it matters not who believes us and who doesn't. These are all really good fans but a few of them are just frustrated because they have wanted this gig and STC for so long, but it has never materialized. I spent 2 long years of my free time searching for this gig. I chronicled my search in this short report:
My search for an audio recording of this concert began in the year 2006. Ever since I first read the reviews posted in NME and Angry Ape, Noel's concert at the Zanzibar kind of took on a very special status for me. Of course, the highlight of the concert was the first performance of the song "Stop the Clocks". But more than that, this was one of the smallest gigs that Noel or Oasis has ever done. Also, it was done at the legendary Zanzibar Club in Liverpool. And while virtually all performances eventually show up on the internet, this one never did. Thus, in 2006, I embarked on a personal mission to try to determine whether or not an audio recording of the concert existed.
The big question for me, as I had never done anything like this before, was how in the world can you find something that probably does not exist? I started brainstorming and came up with some ideas to get started. I began writing both physical letters and sending e-mails to various people in the Liverpool area. I decided to divide my efforts into two categories to double my chances-- I would try to find out if there was a soundboard recording made at the venue, and then I would try to find out if anybody in Liverpool made an audience recording. To do this, I posted in classifieds, wrote the letters, and searched every corner of the internet. I also realized something vital... I would need to offer a cash reward which was equal to the personal value that I placed on the concert.
My early efforts during the first year and a half met with quite a bit of failure and frustration. Time after time, I would think that I found a great lead, but then nothing would end up materializing out of it. These developments could have easily discouraged me and caused me to give up. But they didn't, because I knew that if I gave up, then I would have to live with those feelings of failure. Besides, there were positive things that happened along the way. For instance, I had met some great people in Liverpool that I would have otherwise never known. These were kind hearted people who I made contact with, who willingly went out of their way to ask around and help me along in my search. In the end, it was a quiet morning one day early in 2008, nearly two years after the search began, when I finally had the breakthrough I always dreamed about.

You know, I can understand your frustration, but I'm not going to keep responding to these stupid insults. Maybe you would be quick to betray somebody who trusted you and break your word at the earliest opportunity, but it's not my style.

Frankie Lomax shared boots and pics with us many times before. he never was one of those guys crying for attention. I really don't think he's posting this to be popular or something of the sort.
however....
mate, I'm really finding this hard to believe.... I do believe there's a recording and all that stuff and maybe you tried really hard to find it, but I don't see the point of making this whole thread (and the other one) just to say that and maybe share one song. and the thing of you "being the only fan that has it" but you "don't have the rights to share it" I just can't buy it.

Too much details for this to be a lie, but as others said, something needs to be upload to prove it.

The only thing I'm frustrated with is how you can continue to spew all this shit without backing yourself up. My advice - stop posting about this gig until you can back up what you say. "Oh maybe I can get this song from this guy..." "Oh if I actually do get these songs maybe I'll upload one" "Stop persecuting me for being a shithead" That's what you sound like. Bring something to the table people can believe other than hearsay, or don't talk about this again. Simple.

i don't know if many of you guys realize but i am rollince and as the saying goes you can't bullshit a bullshitter. if you have the songs or the gig produce or shut up. i leaked the past two oasis records heathen chemistry and don't believe the truth. the man certainly wasn't at my door looking for my head. i also leaked the 1 min clips of the meaning of soul and a bell will ring from glastonbury. once again nothing happened. second, you left a big hole in your story, that you gotta now cover up. you said you sent out emails to people from liverpool. so obviously there is going to be an email chain of responses in your inbox and outbox. time to produce them or go away. tell us where you placed the classifieds all of us buy the nme, q, mojo, and uncut here. tell us the issues we will look back at them. its time for you to go away lomax.
