admittitidly i am drinkin right now , but i am so sick of the whining going on on how OASIS are past there prime or DBTT is not what they hoped for........
how many lps did the beatles have that compared to REVOLVER OR PEPPERS? yes let it be was good (there last lp but it was no revolver....did THE WHO ever live up to "whos next" or "quadrophenia"?" its hard "was no way near but it was good....the stones never recaptured "sticky fingers" or "exile on main st" but they still made some great tunes...did zep reach the heights of "physical graffitti or "zep 4 " with "in through the out door". DID pink floyds follow up to "the wall" come near "the wall" NO "THE FINAL CUT "THOUGH DID HAVE SOME GOOD TUNES....the point is you never know when a band will write there OPUS it can come in the begining like OASIS themiddle like THE BEATLES or the end like FLOYD ..BUT THAT DONT MEAN YOU END THE BAND.THERE LPS ARE STILL BETTER THAN ANY CRAP OUT THERE ...SO STOP WORRYING ABOUT IF ITS AS GOOD AS DM OR WTSMG....NOTHIN CAN BE THAT GOOD JUST FUCKIN ENJOY.....NEEDED TO BE SAID

oh yeah it's as good as could be expected at this stage of their career better than last 2 albums so i'm delighted with it i am just so sick of "fans" hopin for 95 type music they are older they are makin great music but its different than the old stuff ...at the end of the day its about growin up and for us it gives us a chance to see them and hear the old tunes to remind us of the band they were and hear the new tunes to show us where they are going..if the fans that dont like the direction they are takin they dont need to buy or go.. but no band stays the same thats been together this long .so deal |

Shit man if they kept churning out stuff from the same old forumula it just wouldnt sound right... thats why i cant hardly listen to U2 and some other bands that I cant think of because I'm drinkin too.. but my point is theres a lot of bands out there with no versitility and that keep trying to relive their glory days and make sequels to all of their songs instead of continuing to put out good innovative music that fits the time and the style of the band exactly man  ....hey i saw your post about the rollin stone review..is that guy reliable? if so thats awesome  |

I for one COMPLETELY DIG DBTT. I don't get the criticism. I listen to Liam and Noel on DBTT and I "feel it." I am not here to write up some "knobhead" overanalytical , hypercritical review. (which I cld and so cld many others.) There music goes beyond my 5 senses - it's something you want to explain but sometimes ya just can't quite put your finger on it exactly.. Liam's voice and their songs "stir me up" - reminds me of growing up and fighting with older bros. and male cousins. I remember getting fired up but then going back for more (and liking it ?) Getting "SUCKED IN"..shit, I maybe shld go "talk to someone about this ? LOL !) I cld bang on about this but just saying I concur. Tam |

thanx everyone ..it just needed to be said...there are so many out there wantin 95 oasis thats magic thats created once in a LOOOONNG WHLIE...THE BEATLES.ZEP.SEX PISTOLS,OASIS,...those are the only bands that ever blew my mind with a dose of creative music....the stone roses came close as did some rollin stones.who and jam lps and the clash..but none of them changed music like the beatles zep pistols and oasis and to constantly be compared to work that can never be duplicated is so unfair..if a new band released this alot of people would be like WOW this is great shit ..but OASIS release it and its held up to a standard that is unreachable ...not cool in my book |

TURN UP THE SUN !! costello my freind, very good lp a great lp !..just as dbtt will be held in 10 years time ..but abbey road is not as good as revolver or peppers,in my opinion(and most others).and thats my point!.there comes a time when great lps like abbey road arent as good as revolver or peppers but beatle fans were happy!.as OASIS fans should be with this lp .it got some great tunes 10 years on it will be considered one of the best..is it DM ?NO ...IS ABBEY ROAD ,PEPPERS? NO....thats my point geez |
