For me, Nirvana is nothing but good times...........
- About A Girl - Sliver - Been A Son - Smells Like Teen Spirit - In Bloom - Come As You Are - Lithium - Polly - Drain You - Something In The Way - Serve The Servants - Heart-Shaped Box - Rape Me - Dumb - Pennyroyal Tea - All Apologies
They also had bitching covers..............
- Molly's Lips - Son of a Gun - Jesus Don't Want Me For A Sunbeam - Lake of Fire - The Man Who Sold The World - Where Did You Sleep Last Night?
The entire MTV Unplugged album should be considered an American piece of art.

^^^^That documentary is getting all kinds of fantastic reviews.
For me, Rape Me changed my entire life. That was the first song I ever felt told my entire story.
And, as a side note, I'm not sure if anything's been posted here, but Frances Cobain is a pretty big Oasis fan. She's posted several pics of her & Bonehead hanging out.

For the longest time I thought the lyrics "Choking on the ashes of her enemy" were "Chocking on the ashes of a Manta ray"

I have the softest part in my heart on this forum for Nirvana. I'm personally tired of docs and death theories overall. My Nirvana fans site's twitter page everyday is covered about Kurt's death. Nothing will bring him back. I just enjoy the music and Videos official or bootlegs. I have a very large collection and basically they were the local band that made it big where I grew up. Kurt as boy at Sun Lakes in Washington. Kurt with parents

People that don't like Nirvana don't like rock and roll. Simple as that. Nirvana when on form live were simply brilliant and a tour de force in primal brilliant rock & roll. Cobain was a stupid brilliant little clver beautiful irritating great idiot who had great voice on record and could have read you the phone book over an out of tune guitar and mumbling whatver and it would have still sounded good. He was one of those ppl who picked melody out of the sky with ease. Nirvana were good. Make no mistake about it.

Finally got around to watching the Montage of Heck film, which I rented off the iTunes store for like £3.50. It's quite long, about 2 hours in total, but it was a very interesting watch which I really enjoyed. [officially recommended okay]

As much as i loved Nirvana im not sure i could watch that film. It looks almost too personal from the trailer. It has been getting pretty much universally good reviews though.

It definitely looks very powerful and compelling, I've come to understand Kurt Cobain more and more over the years (I used to despise how everyone found someone so miserable a compelling figure) and this documentary will probably help even more...seems like Kurt was a very sensitive person deep down and resented all of the noise that came with fame, as well as the people that failed to understand him...I can relate to that, as I am a pretty sensitive person as well.

I liked Nirvana in the first place because they were a good band. Believe it or not that is why so many people liked them in first place. Nirvana weren't some sort of doom death rock band. Cobain's suicide has muddied a lot of opinion on what that band was or wasn't. Over time ive realised Cobain was just a casualty of hard drugs. Yes he had a shitty time growing up but if he hadnt messed around with opiates and heroin to the scale he did i'm almost sure he'd still be alive now but at same time im always alarmed how no one barely mentions mental health in regards to Cobain. By 1994 he clearly was not well and seriously ill. Heroin withdrawl is physically painful. No coincidence he killed himself a few days after a withdrawl attempt. I dont think he was this manic depressive figure many make out. I think he just got ill rather than always was.

Ehh...I am not a Kurt Cobain expert, so I don't know...he did have a constant stomach problem that forced him to explore heroin as a relief. I think the combination of that and coming to terms with his fame and everything else gave him some psychological problems that were clearly present...would he still be alive if it wasn't for drugs? Probably...but I have a feeling he would have left the music scene some time ago.

this guy right here is the definition of a rock star. and you can tell he's genuinely having fun every time he's on stage performing.
