Yeah I did in the meantime although digging a bit further there’s also a Reddit thread where people are saying those allegations are mostly false, or very light (something belonging to classic relationship fights) and that the accuser who is not his ex wife is a psycho

Graham is no angel that’s for sure, alcoholic and personality troubles. He was kicked out of blur for years because of that… But a criminal.. basic rule is don’t date famous people, they are all unstable.

I didn’t read the whole thing though just went through it. I just think we need to be careful when someone is accusing someone on the Internet.

What I read on the tumblr is classic rock n roll behavior. Could apply to Liam or probably even Noel or Lennon if he had access to that kind of technology.

That said its never a good idea to date or even talk to your fans. One day something is bound to go wrong. Obsessive people can be dangerous too.

True, but was he aware that they were underaged ? Same scenario happened to Ryan Adams and the accuser later confirmed she lied about her age.

They are an annoying bunch, but on their days they were capable of writing some brilliant stuff
The likes of The Universal or Beetlebum are incredible songs, and obviously Damon's first few albums with Gorillaz were pretty great, I enjoyed Everyday Robots too
I don't think he has produced anything that was really worth it in a while tho, as much as I appreciate his curiosity and versatility, maybe just that The Good, The Bad and The Queen record back in 2018
The last few Gorillaz efforts have been forgettable, as his second solo album, and The Magic Whip got boring real quick

A student I teach's mum and her friend were invited around to his house after meeting him at a club one night in the early 00s. She didn't go into detail though about what the night entailed. She did say she saw Milky up on a shelf.

Damon is producing too much music. A bit like Weezer, and Rivers Cuomo just admitted maybe they released too much without quality control.

Same thing for Damon, he goes in the studio every day and probably makes a track a day. Sometimes its good to let it go away for a while.

I was never really into Gorillaz or his other side projects, but maybe it took a hit on Blur. Magic Whip is mostly a Graham Coxon Album with Damon's voice and songs. If i remember correctly he assembled it on his own while Damon was busy doing other things. I like that record, maybe not as much the previous ones.

Seen them in 2013 and they were great live.

Seems Coxon has been at that for years, since the MySpace days.

He's my favourite guitar player for my favourite band from a music perspective...but that won't cloud the fact some of his online behaviour has been suspect.

I was basically a young teenager those days, and knew a lot of girls my age in London where I was that used to knock around the indie scene at the time and there was a lot of ropey behaviour between adults and minors.

I know for sure Graham Coxon was always messaging young girls then, whether he knew if they were of legal age or not, I can't say. But it would've been evident by the pics they were teenagers.

At the time, because I was young, you don't really think a great deal about it because I was out going to gigs and it was an every day thing to see teenagers at gigs then talking to musicians, there wasn't a huge amount of separation between artists and bands then. But looking back now, there was a lot of dark and creepy behaviour going on.

Again, I can't say Coxon has done anything illegal, but I can say I know 100% in those days he was always chatting with teenagers online. So make of that what you will.

I don't know if he's still doing that, I never really thought about the past until this thread.
