It's a lovely song but not part of my constant playlist as I connect to the Xmas holiday and it's a bit of a downer.
That being said, LG hit it out of the park with the vocal, he should be proud.

Kevin Smith saw a 10 second clip of the next big super hero movie before any of the VFX was done and he cried. He seems like a good egg with good intentions to me, and the bulk of his work is great (just don't mention Yoga Hosers or Cop Out). Or Red State, Or Strike Back/Reboot.
I will say that the last 40 mins of Clerks 3 made me tear up.

Good for Noel, take into the fact that he is his own label this is a good accomplishment.
I don't rate the song much (Sail On is the last track of his I felt was up there with his best work) but nice to see him get some recognition. I'm surprised Liam doesn't do that well radio wise here in the US especially when Americans are writing and producing his stuff.

Sounds terrible especially adding all the political stuff. Liam would of achieved this regardless of any politics. How come he can show the full knebworth set with oasis songs yet it can’t be in the doc!? Anyone know? I assume that as with MTV Unplugged 2019, footage of the entire set can air on TV/Web but cannot be released on DVD Correct.
I wonder what the loophole is that allows stuff like Down By The River and Knebworth 22 to feature Oasis tracks if they are streaming but not cinema showings. Home video releases have always been this way but streaming is a newer game in town so I guess there's more grey areas.

It's dropped out of the chart after 5 weeks? WMWN did 28 and AYW did like 47 yikes This isn’t a Liam issue at all. It’s just how the musical landscape is with streaming. It’s about being young, flashy, trendy and having pop songs on prominent Spotify/Apple Music playlists. That generate immense traffic for artists. Sigh of the times. Regardless, it seems like 5 weeks is a bust compared to the other two records. In the end he notched another number one and he sold out Knebworth, people will remember that. I'm sure Noel will probably chuckle at the 5 week thing tho |

It's not showing up in the US Itunes store yet for me, this will be an automatic buy just to get Bless You!
Sad that it seems promo for this record has sputtered out, it deserves to be heard.
Any chance he tours America ? I would love to see him again now that he's got more solo stuff under his belt.

Given your avatar, curious to hear what you thought of Austin Butler?
He was damn good, I've seen all Elvis biopics (even the crap ones like Don Johnson) and AB kills it. Yeah his voice isn't 100% nor is he a replica but man the guy put in the work. I've been a fan since I was 6 (I'm 35 now) and have studied the man for decades, AB blew me away.
The film itself, not so much but it's nice to see it doing well all things considered.

struck me there that liam's solo written tunes do sound like a continuation of beady eye (a good thing for me), and produced by Dan Grech-Marguerat do get to a 'modern liam' without the excess of kurtstin or wyatt.
shouldn't be forgotten that those were the tracks that obviously got the deal, so strange that Grech-Marguerat was frozen out after - personal stuff or label intervention I wonder?
I just hope that the fourth album is Liam and the band in the studio with a sympathetic producer who knows how to get live performance 'on tape' as it were....
That's been my biggest rub with the records post AYW. Dan produced IMO the best songs on the record and they were the perfect mix of being commercial without out being too Kurstin'd.
I am not complaining as overall the subsequent followups have been good to great, I think Dan brought out more heart out of Liam. Or maybe that is just me.

Poweramp does support FLAC files which is what qobuz.com sells. But to be fair if you want to let me know what kind of Android you have I can confirm the phone itself will play FLAC.
Or to keep it simple you can buy from Amazon music as that is mp3's.
I got the Note 9. Does it have its very own music app that's better than Poweramp, because that's why I use for wav files. You're probably best served using Poweramp and the phone is also compatible with FLAC. I am an iPhone user so I only know the basics about Androids

This is the deluxe edition CD, I assume bless you will be on the box set CD I hope someone shares that or it's uploaded to iTunes. I can't justify buying that boxset for one song. |

Thanks for starting this thread. I haven't ordered yet as I usually go Amazon but WMWN was a sold to me as an official CDR and I don't do those. So besides the LG store I guess the next way to go is a place like import CDS that sells direct from the labels but a bit pricey when you factor in shipping.
So as a US resident is WMG the best way to get a bundle or am I better off just ordering the way I had planned?
I'll have both releases digitally via my Apple Music subscription but I collect CD's as that's what I was raised on (and I like having lossless copies).

If he had just left out the "this is a threat" part no one would care. But I can't see this hurting him, if the video when he got in an argument with his fiance didn't do damage neither will this.
