What are you talking about? Trip Inside isn't a demo of Be Here Now, it's simply a weird instrumental that doesn't really go anywhere. Trip Inside - as someone else has posted - is the 'actual' demo of BHN. I really like both versions. The live version from the tour is still the best, but if I'm going between album version and demo, I'd say the album version just edges it for me, but agree that the demo has more detail in it (which is down to the overblown ( lol ) production of BHN) Yeah, my sarcasm didn't translate in the text. I know the situation with the demo

What are you talking about? Trip Inside isn't a demo of Be Here Now, it's simply a weird instrumental that doesn't really go anywhere. Incorrect. Like the member above pointed out, when the promo boxset mp3 files leaked, the Mustique Demo CD had the actual Trip Inside (Be Here Now) demo. For whatever reason, Ignition swapped it on the final international release with a random unknown instrumental and still named it Trip Inside (Be Here Now). We all were confused and mimmihopps emailed them only to get a response of "It is correctly listed, as it was intended to be." Clear lie there and just more nonsense from that joke of a company. Apparently the actual Trip Inside was replaced due to the drum break of the Rolling Stones' song "Honkey Tonk Women" playing at the beginning of the original demo being copyrighted. So removed at the last minute for some random reason. Sorry, I was making a sarcastic remark about how the management company continued to insist that the instrumental was in fact Trip Inside.

Liam completely won the chart battle i wonder why all the noel fans went quiet about WBTM tanking so quick lolllll, an album that will probably end up as platinum is "tanking." I don't care about the charts anymore. It's not like either of them are really lighting it up anymore. I was really disappointed in the quality of the songs we got. Hopefully the next one will be better...

Honestly, having watched the videos from last night, I'm now superhyped. Crowd has a lot to do with it at all times but last night they looked right on it and how anybody can't smile while watching All You Need Is Love (below) is beyond me. Noel's on fire, the band are on fire and the songs - new and old - sound great. If you get the time watch this guy's vids^ He's put them all on bar FK and What A Life Because I don't like the song and he has 24 years of his own songs that he could play, and at least 10 of them would work better as a closer with him singing IMO

Just got home after being away for a couple of days. It was my 5th Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds gig. The gig was good. Very different atomosphere and very different audiences. It was a good show, nothing more, nothing less. Some songs from his new album sounded good, some not. The Right Stuff was good live and a big sing along for Littel By Little which surprised me. I kinda had enough of TIOBI, Little by Little, Half The World Away and especially Wonderwall. I've been listening to TIOBI and Wonderwall live since 2005 and Little By Little and Half The World Away since 2011. I think Noel feels confident to sing those songs, but those who attended his gig multiple times, could be easily bored. I wasn't keen on Go Let It Out. Noel's voice isn't strong enough to sing this song. Having Gem Archer next to him brought a big big change for the band. I've seen Gem and Chris playing with Noel when they supported U2 last year and the guitar solo from Little By Little had a wall of Oasis sound. The best moment of the gig was him playing Dead In The Water acoustic. It was truly beautiful. and the best of the gig was that I got no beer shower. It was pleasure to meet Gem and Chris outside and pleasure? to meet Noel for the second time. Gem and Chris were very nice. Met Bonehead last month too, so that means I met 6 of Oasis (Liam, Noel x 2, Bonehead, Gem, Chris and Andy) so far. I got on my vinyl of Who Built The Moon? signed. I've met so many musicians, but Noel Gallagher is the grumpiest musician I ever met. It won't hurt you to chat with your fans Noel, will you? Anyway, I've seen both Gallaghers this year and seeing the youngest one in November again and I'm ready for it. Went to the Amsterdam gig. It was excellent. The new band really brings in something new. Noel was quite quiet until half show. Loved to hear LITL, and all WBTM songs were great. Wonderwall fell a little flat imo, but DITW was amazing. All in all, a great night. And, according to locals, it was the hottest April day in Amsterdam in history. What else could I ask for ? Yes, it was the hottest April last Thursday (28 degree). Now you just need to find Alan White and Guigsy haha

Still think it's by far the weakest selection of songs Noel's released in quite a long time. His other solo albums have much greater heights. I don't find the songs "out-there" just underdeveloped. The songs are serving the production, not the other way around. Looking through it there's almost no song I would ever want to listen to again, beside Dead in The Water and maybe MWBTM...

I wonder if you mixed that in with the studio version of Wonderwall Liam recorded this year if it would fit?

Do you think Noel could still pull off the lead guitar style he did during the Be Here Now tour, with the super extended solos and such, or was that just a product of a super amount of confidence due to drugs?

Occasionally I decide to listen to their Sons of the Stage cover, which is great. Does that count?
Edit: Off at the Next Exit is a good song

Richard Nixon was a scumbag but at least he ended the war in Vietnam and was a driving force behind the creation of the EPA. Meanwhile, I can't name one redeeming quality about Donald Trump. Trump acts like a fool, but Nixon was proper anti-semetic and racist. If you want to talk antisemitism, I guess you forgot the time Trump defended the alt-right neo-Nazis in Charlottesville, or the time he refused to disavow David Duke, or when he tweeted a graphic critical of Hillary Clinton that featured a six-pointed star, a pile of cash and the words "most corrupt candidate ever." Or when he said, "The only kind of people I want counting my money are short guys that wear yarmulkes every day.” Trump may not hate Jews, but he certainly shows a contempt for them. And if you'd like me to give a detailed list of the times he's shown himself to be a virulent racist, let me know. Because he fucking is. He doesn't want facts. He's happy with whatever shit Trump does as long as he doesn't feel like it effects him directly. Which is hilarious, because it's going to...

No, it isn't. Explain how large bodies of water curve around the exterior of a spinning ball while remaining totally flat and level at the surface, and extra points if you can do so without using the magical word of "gravity" ? You don't believe in gravity? Huh, and I was sure that Beady was the most delusional person on this forum. Also you never even tried to answer my question before asking one of your own...

In the streaming video Jay's guitar makes no sound :-( I was part of a production crew for a concert one time, and they had a special guest guitarist who they had the jack not even plugged into anything on stage to make it seem like he was actually playing. Maybe we've gotten that far with Jay haha. Just kidding, although I'll never forgive him for butchering the opening to RNRS and the solo of DYKWIM?, just as I've never forgiven Tim Smith for his Little By Little abomination

What is your point with these posts? Because I find it hard to believe that you would actually think the earth is flat. I actually do though mate. I'm not joking, 100% serious. Most people respond with ridicule it's to be expected. I laughed when someone first mentioned it to me too. But then the more i looked into it, its not as crazy as it seems. I now do find it hard to believe i used to even think we live on a spinning ball. My education said we did, now it just seems more like indoctrination. Get on a plane flying East, and try flying off to the edge of the world. You'll end up right where you started. So how's it flat?

If he sounds so strong and confident on Wonderwall(one of the last songs in his setlist) then he's serious about recovering and he really gives a damn about his fans. Finsbury will be legendary. Not to sound like a downer, but Wonderwall is basically the easiest song to sing he has in his setlist...

I think the shoots of growth were in place before Trump came along. That's not surprising when recovering from global financial disaster. He isn't popular with women or men here, the women have a more than enough reason to be appalled by him. I'm not sure where you're from but I'm a woman and I'm not appalled by him at all..I'm actually appalled by Hillary and the democrats continual sanctimonious judgement of those that voted for Trump. it's absolute bullshit to label everyone that voted for Trump as a racist horrible human being... and for that reason alone most people like myself will most definitely vote Trump and Republican in all elections. Btw I was a Democrat before this election as were my parents, grandparents, and great grandparents.. And I'm from Louisiana. They might not all be racist, but they all had no problems with voting a lying racist bigot into the most powerful office on the planet. Hmmm.....

See, I prefer ambition. He's played it safe for so long. Yeah, but you yankees never had gigs like this anyway: Why does Noel almost always play the acoustic version of DLBIA with Chris? He's the best drummer for the song other than Alan and this is one of the few gigs he actually played the electric version with him as the drummer
