Noel talked about the U2 gigs making him take "time off work" last Saturday so I have a suspicion it'll push the release date back.

Greedy Soul is about Noel. Sometimes I seriously think that Liam's Twitter has been hacked a long time ago by some sad, fat 12-yo kid with broderline syndrome and schizophrenia. Sad isn't it.

Saw them Live at Croke Park, Dublin on Saturday. A Nice Birthday present for me. One thing that Coldplay are still are, are a fantastic live band. They know to put on a great show. Martin is a great frontman, the set list was very heavy on material from the last three albums which wasn't surprising and the support acts they had were awful, but I can't fault the show and I got my moneys worth. But it couldn't beat the gig I saw on their Viva La Vida tour, still probably the best the gig I've been too. Yeah, like Kasabian, Coldplay really kills it live. Seen them 5-6 times, although not since 2011 Letterman. Chris Martin can really fire up a crowd. I just miss my old band from 2000-2003. Loved them live until VLV now I think they're quite "meh". Last year I thought they were terrible at some points and great at others during their gig but perhaps that's because they're were trying at times to be some sort of shit dance act and playing crap like Hymn For the Weekend.

Liam is sounding great but needs a better band. Noel is sounding not so great but has a great band. Hmm. What? Noel sounded great last night actually being there. He was great despite the set list being a bit dull.

Once again then... 1. A Head Full of Dreams 2. Birds 3. Hymn for the Weekend 4. Everglow 5. Adventure of a Lifetime 6. A L I E N S 7. All I Can Think About is You 8. Army of One 9. Hypnotized 10. Colour Spectrum 11. Up&Up Meh? I'd have All I Can Think About is You way above anything else. It's the only song I repeatedly listen to since stuff off of VLV.

I was there last night and I have to say I really enjoyed Noels set. The songs definitely sounded better with Gem and Chris and it was nice to hear Little By Little again. It's only a matter of time now before we get noels new single and then I assume it will be added to the setlist at the U2 gigs. Agreed, he was good and the band was tight. Better sounding with Gem and Chris.

Who gives a fuck who closes who's gig? Noel loves U2 and he wrote DLBIA so he can decide where he plays it or who plays it when. This is BS because you don't like U2. If it was a band you liked you'd love it. that was kind of the point I was making originally, 'hypothetically' if I was a U2 fan who didn't like oasis it'd be shit, and ultimately people pay a fortune to go and see bands like U2 so there only concern should be putting on a show for their fans not having a laugh with there mates. I didn't say I wouldn't have enjoyed it, nor did I say i didn't like U2, I said I wasn't a big fan. They are ok, I like all there classic hits. Possibly but U2 are doing this all the time now, pretty sure they've done it with Bruce Springsteen and others worldwide the band that were involved in the Paris terrorist attack for example. I don't think it's that much of a big deal really people around me seemed to enjoy it anyway. :-)

What a load of shit. Anyway, I thought U2 were pretty avarage tonight in general. Didn't live up to some of the past U2 concerts I've been at. Some great bits though. Onto Dublin next. What's a load of shit? Just my opinion, if you disagree fair enough but you can go fuck yourself I'd thats the way you want to talk to me. I love oasis and DLBIA, but this is a U2 gig. If they want to let another act close their show then I happen to think it's a bit weak and wouldn't be happy if I was there to see U2. If your care to elaborate on why your opinion differs then I'd be happy to hear it. Who gives a fuck who closes who's gig? Noel loves U2 and he wrote DLBIA so he can decide where he plays it or who plays it when. This is BS because you don't like U2. If it was a band you liked you'd love it.

Not much of a U2 fan but by almost any objective measure they are bigger than oasis ever were. Why the fuck are they letting the support act close their gig? Of course I get its probably about the one love thing but it still seems lame as fuck. If I was a big U2 nut but had no interest in noel/oasis I'd be a bit pissed off. I can't stand U2, wish Noel had done DLBIA earlier without them. What a load of shit. Anyway, I thought U2 were pretty avarage tonight in general. Didn't live up to some of the past U2 concerts I've been at. Some great bits though. Onto Dublin next.

Pretty bland set list Noel on autopilot. . [] You'd think he was an opening act Fuck sake, I said he was still quality he's top class, never disappoints. Interestingly, one of the ones the crowd was into was LBL. Anyway, I'm off to get some more pints fuck this nonsense.

Because I don't want to be stumbling around Twickenham with my pregnant wife at 1am when the trains stop at midnight and the public transport is terrible. But yeah I'm really hoping Noel joins them onstage for a song or 2. My wife's expecting too and coming to the gig. Ours is due just before Christmas...i did suggest Noel if it's a boy and arrived on Christmas...but apparently that was a big No!! Ha, i couldn't name mind Noel I'd just see Noels sarcastic face everytime I looked at my kid! Not good.

I know people have to get home like, but... Why would you leave a concert early? Why miss the finale? Seems pointless... But yeah I'm really hoping Noel joins them onstage for a song or 2.

Yep. Not looking forward to trying to get the train back from Twickenham into central London afterwards, Twickenham station is tiny and normally its pandemonium at the station. Horrible place for public transport. I've got to get back to Stratford and then home to Chelmsford, I reckon I'll leave a bit before the end to avoid the mad rush and to make sure I get home. There's also talk of engineering works which could make things even more interesting! Yeah, I'll be leaving early too. Going to be a nightmare! I'm trying to get back to Clapham.

If you're going to write a critical song about Noel, at least make sure it's a good song! Good job it is then. Ummmmmm.

If Noel had released this he'd be getting slated and rightly so. If Noel would release Chinatown everyone would think it is "genius". For instance: "If I had a gun" simply has no melody whatsoever. It's just two or three notes repeating themselves over and over. It's horrible, but still a lot of people thought it was "genius". Pathetic. Chinatown is much better, and probably also more likeable for a broader audience, than almost any of Noel's solo stuff. Sorry for my english. "Gun" had no melody?! The production in the end killed it, go back and listen to the original acoustic leak with was great. If this wasn't a Liam song it'd get absolutely nowhere. My 19year old nephew is writing much, much, much better stuff than this!

Lmfao at the 10, 9, 8.....and even 7 ratings. So it's as good as DLBIA then? What utter rubbish. If Noel had released this he'd be getting slated and rightly so.

Noel will have a song out by the time he does his U2 gigs. We are still a long time off from that and his new album in November. A week and a half is the start of the U2 gigs.

It's high time Noel released a new single, playing no new material at the U2 gigs is gonna look very stale. To a lot of U2 fans anything he plays besides DLBIA will be new to them. Not me.

I bet he waits until he's stopped touring with U2 and then after his holiday (to recover) until he releases anything new.
