Winced at that woman at the end blustering about wanting to take her country back. Is that right, love? May I ask from where? And from whom? Brings to mind a bit of Orwell: "All that was required of [the proles] was a primitive patriotism which could be appealed to whenever it was necessary to make them accept longer working-hours or shorter rations." patriotism is really stupid. ive seen so many rednecks burning their jerseys during the nfl season because the players were "disrespecting our flag" it almost laughable. be proud of something you do and not of your accidental privilige to be born in a first world country Yep. Being born in a specific country and living there means very little. We're all sitting on a rock spining around a nondescript star in the middle of nowhere. Nationalism appeals to the very base instincts.

Boom. Less than 3 years to the 2020 election, this doesn’t bode well for the anti-Trump brigade.... An entire five people interviewed, wow! Thanks. His approval rating is showing an uptick as well...

Here’s an interesting hypothetical: Using hindsight as well as using the present.... Would you go back to the 2012 election and vote for Mitt Romney (instead of Barack Obama) knowing that Romney’s two presidential terms of 2012-2016 & 2016-2020 would have prevented the rise of Donald Trump? If I lived in the US and if i knew it would stop the forthcoming nuclear war then yes.

If I was American I'd be claiming to be any nationality but these days. There is a lot of good in the US. Don’t dismiss what you don’t know. I don’t pretend to know everything but this is the third country I’ve lived in. It has his flaws like any place but also a lot of good things. Of course there is but internationally they're(the government) a laughing stock at the moment.

Not voting for someone who always disses the US and claims to be British sorry 😁 Sadly I won’t be able to run as I wasn’t born in the US. I know that is a disappointment to many. If I was American I'd be claiming to be any nationality but these days.

Fucking hell, she give him a right lingering kiss there. Bet Sara would have preferred her to push him into a speaker. When the husbands at home with the kids and women go for a night out, anything can happen!

Noel got some crazy woman hugging and kissing him at the RAH 2 years ago as well, didn't he? I don't remember that, I bet he was bricking it seeing someone up on stage after what happened to him before. As others have mentioned does seem a little odd that security don't get to people until after they've reached the artist. While this with Liam turned out fine, I guarantee someone from management was pissed off with the security firm after that gig.

Fair play to Liam, he took that very well. Truth be told it must be quite frightening to be on stage and see a member of the audience run at you, particularly after what happened to Noel years ago. Noel got some crazy woman hugging and kissing him at the RAH 2 years ago as well, didn't he?

Apart from the first 3 album, I like SOTSOG and DOYS, while not great both are very good albums, I don't like much DBTT and HC, in my mind both albums are more for casual fans. To me SOTSOG and DOYS are the only albums in the 00s where the band shows some progress musically speaking. I feel like HC and DBTT were two big steps back in that regard tbh Falling Down could be off WBTM. That's how futuristic it is!

The last few were fairly shit though. Fair comment, everyone has their own opinion. But I think quite a few people would acknowledge that while the full albums in the later years may not have been as strong as the early ones, there were still always at least one or two classic tunes on each album. Or certainly songs that have endured or become live favourites anyway. Agreed.

He laughed as all the albums bombed. No Oasis album ever bombed. Even the release of the brothers arguing sold more in the UK than most band's albums. The last few were fairly shit though.

Its just so so weird. Noel also attacked Dave Grohl. These are your buddies Noel. No one is wishing you ill harm. Best to keep silent. I can be wrong, but I think he also attacked U2. U2 and the two Ronnie's are the only ones he hasn't had a dig at.

How did Noel cope in the later Oasis days when he wasn't writing the full Oasis albums, there were three other songwriters credited on them? He laughed as all the albums bombed.

He's grumpy as fuck, but his weight loss was caused by salmonella so yeah...i'm glad he's better now though. Wait really? I just figured he’d gone vegan or something. Kinda feel bad for teasing about it now (except that of course he’ll never read it and isn’t concerned with common pigeons like me anyway ha) Macro nutrient diet mate, all the people that shop in Waitrose do it.

Why is Noel trying to have a dig at RA anyway? Fucking bizzare. Although if I was RA I would be trying to claim someone else wrote my recent stuff as it's dreadful. Because him and Liam have done a couple things together over the past year and been complimentary of each other. He did the same with Foo Fighters. Mad. Weird behaviour.

It's borderline hypocritical considering Noel practically encouraged Liam to link up with songwriters and even offered (jokingly) he'd write a song for him if he asked. Not to mention all of his criticisms of Beady Eye boiled down to 'they need a hit.' Liam went and got some. What's going on, Noel? It's not borderline. Noel is a hypocrite. Difference is that Liam uses Twitter to call him out on his bullshit and (some) fans are beginning to see Noel for what he is. Noel talks shite and always has done. Liam talks shite on Twitter. Two peas of the same pod.

In the 90s Liam would've slated an artist who had a songwriter behind them. Changed times, eh?!
