Ideal and possibly realistic line up for a possible reunion would be:
Drums - Alan White Bass - Andy Bell (no chance Guigsy would do it) Lead Guitar - Noel Rhythm Guitar - Bonehead
Gem's just too dull a guitarist for me. No style or personality to his playing. His own songs are horrific too. Quite telling that when Liam played with Coldplay at that benefit gig in Manchester, Jonny Buckland played the solo parts better than Gem ever could...

Liam is really committing to the bit. Sure he’ll have plausible deniability cause it’s Twitter, but I’m almost approaching the point where the joke isn’t funny anymore if it turns out to be promotion for a Malta cruise show. I’ll forgive him, of course, cause he’s Liam. I'd piss myself laughing if it turns out to be something fairly inconsequential from Liam. That would be top form from him.

Or a press conference to announce it like the Roses did! That's not enough mate haha. They could easily fall out in the run up. Hilarious, imagine that happening. They reunite without actually reuniting. Would be the most Oasis thing ever.

Margaret Thatcher was Britain’s first woman prime minister, 1979 to 1990. She was a Conservative. While a success, she is reviled outside of her partisan base. Theresa May was Britain’s second woman prime minister, 2016 to 2019. Also a Conservative. Her premiership is seen as a failure. Liz Truss was Britain’s third woman prime minister, serving only 51 days in 2022. Also a Conservative. An unpopular embarrassment. It matters nowt that these three leaders were women. Their policies is what makes the difference. Americans, by comparison, have a perverse relationship with gender (and race). Funny that, the batshit destructive populism of Truss is right up your alley. As ever, tying yourself up in knots.

Deluded beyond belief. Here's a tip for Trump fans, face up to your responsibilities and your emotional insecurities, and stop hiding behind mentally deranged conspiracies like the cowards you are. Show yourself a bit of respect, get out more, converse and listen to other people different from yourself, show less self hatred and then you can gain the emotional energy to do something about the sad, insecure and deeply paranoid rut you lot are in. Until you actually gain a bit of common sense and a healthy perspective on life, hatred will rule you and everyone or something will be to blame. Apart from yourselves that is. The problems, as ever, lie a bit closer to home. Trump is the symptom to a deeper issue that lies with yourself. Says the person who believes that Trump was a Russian agent working under Putin, with a pee tape to boot! The pee tape? Ah yes, imagine if such sexual depravity was true. It would completely destroy a man's reputation who openly fancies his daughter.

The left like to promote the narrative that Joe Biden saved Democracy by defeating Trump in 2020. But even doubts of the result of the election set aside, Biden did not defeat Trump. Trumpism, the MAGA movement, and The Don himself are all still alive, well, and relevant. If anything, Trump beat Biden. Deluded beyond belief. Here's a tip for Trump fans, face up to your responsibilities and your emotional insecurities, and stop hiding behind mentally deranged conspiracies like the cowards you are. Sympathies with the Lynch family with their yacht going down, but I'm sorry, it's not worth plastering all over the headlines. A billionaire sawnning off in his environmentally destructive toy and sinking is not tantamount to refugees drowning in the channel, which doesn't nearly receive the same level of coverage.
The lionising of the rich and famous, and the public's thirst for them, says a lot about the shallow society we live in.

While I won’t, I should probably stop listening to political podcasts at work - it makes me so angry. It affects my internal peace. I hate Kamala Harris with her nonsensical policies, her inauthenticity, and her superficiality. I hate the media and their constant lies and gaslighting. And I hate the Democrat Party with their deceit, dishonesty, and manipulation. Trump better win. You need help. Seriously.

I wonder when Liam will announce another album, that isn’t related to the JS collab. Won’t be for many years I would think. he said on X yesterday that he’s retired as a solo artist. I honestly believe he won’t make another studio album on his own. Based on the sound bites from the past couple of weeks from both his camp and his brothers, he now has bigger fish to fry… Haha, that's just his annual wind up of fuelling rumours about an Oasis reunion!

When does Freaky Teeth originate from? Is it Oasis days? Would have been a belter with the Be Here Now kitchen sink treatment and, of course, Liam vocals. It was written in 2008, If I recall correctly. The demo we got is probably from the Noel & Gem demo sessions from 2008, while the finished thing was most likely recorded during HFB1. It would have been great with a faster tempo and Liam on vocals. EDIT: yes, it was 2008 ( www.nme.com/news/music/oasis-469-1324540) Dig Out Your Soul desperately needed Freaky Teeth. Agree that it should have been faster, more rocking and with Liak vocals. Oasis should have hired Rick Rubin for DOYS, he'd have probably got them to put their best songs on the record no matter what.

Given that Noel's giving off 'divorced dad' energy recently and with added health issues and gammon ramblings, he doesn't exactly seem primed to give us anything special. He's recently come off as the most cynical grumpy man ever (with understandable personal reasons), and that's saying something for him. Even if he did get the band back together, his attitude is hardly conducive to a worthwhile reunion.
I miss the Noel of 2017, fit and healthy, he was genuinely excited about the Who Built The Moon album (regardless of what the naysayers say about it) and performance wise, the High Flying Birds were never better. That kind of thing reflected in his music, even if some here didn't like it, it was vibrant and colourful rather than beige and dour. That's the Noel we need for a reunion. Having the ambition to go back and dream it all up again, go and prove a point and write the best Oasis album since the 90s.
Liam's the opposite. Smashing it live, fairly prolific in the studio and seemingly loving life. Seems like the reverse scenarios for Noel and Liam from a decade ago, what a difference ten years makes.

Why the hell would they play Beady Eye tunes? To schedule toilet breaks?
Anyway, it would be the exact same boring setlist as the last few turgid years of Oasis if Noel has his way.

The era of the great songwriters is over and ain't coming back.
Society has too many distractions and doesn't have the attention to cultivate songwriters. Imagine Noels train of thought being interrupted while writing Live Forever by checking twitter every two minutes. The song would be a half baked good idea at best.

I don't like Jimmy Hendrix at all. Maybe he did some revolutionary things with guitar, I don't know, maybe he played guitar behind is back and all that... It doesn't matter to me to be honest, when I play his record, it just sound like some boring, stereotypical 60s record. I look at him just as 60s rock poster boy. Music for old farts living in dusty apartments or for people who wants to show how cool and rock and roll they are and they say they listen to Jimmy but they know one or two of his songs(which he didn't wrote btw). No insult to real fans :-) Completely agree I find him pretty much unlistenable. I understand his influence but still, its not a great listen. His voice is pretty tuneless too. Even worse live. Also agree, Jimi Hendrix is awful. The prime example of style over substance and a damaging legacy to rock music by inspiring guitar douche fret wankers all over the world.
