he's a fuckin vagina
dont get me wrong, quality player -- but what the fuck has happened to his personality
he meets with Chelsea illegaly, then cant understand why Arsenal are angry at him. It all dies down, then to sell some books he brings it up again. (But now he's hated even more, and i cant see many Arsenal fans buying that twats book)
He's being just like Anelka. Great player. Committed to Arsenal. Has some minor falling out. Speaks bad about the club that has done so much. Gets sold for a high price.
Also a bit like when Beckham left Utd: Glamour players, crave media attention etc etc
Coles a fuckin idiot. He's supported Arsenal all his life. He came up through the Arsenal youth system. AW did so much for Cole. And this is how he repays Arsenal?
Dont get me wrong, i would love Cole to stay cos he is quality. But acting like this, he can leave. 25million+ i will take, esp if Wenger finally decides to use the money and buy some damn players
Also, Chelsea will now be cursed. There hasnt been1 player who left Arsenal at their peak to accomplish better things:
Petit, Overmars, Anelka, Wiltord, Vieira, Edu etc etc....
it seems the AW brings out the best in his players, and when they move on they fail

quality player, wouldn't call him a glamour player myself, considering his wife is a well known pop star he keeps out of the media.
as for meeting chelsea illegally, it happens all the time, just that the papers thought the story was worth printing.
As for his motives, he must think Chelsea are more likley to win trophys, and you can't blame him for thinking that. Also he will get more money, but when you already earn stupid money i can't see it as that important to him, but you never know how much his agent has pressured him, as they will get a huge cut if he moves club.

Wasn't Ray Parlor the only Arsenal player (or ex) that turned up to his wedding, i was flicking through my sisters OK and he was the only face i came across, no Dyer (understandable as Miss Twedys his Ex) but Jenas, Campbell, or some other football faces would have been expected, Seems Mr Coles not very popular

Naill Quin once said that when your walking away from Highbury, and getting on the tube or whatever for the last time to head home, money involved or not, its because you know your not good enough, if Ashley was worth it, Arsenal would have fighted

And you said about Beckham? He had every right to leave Man Utd, and in my opinon he came out looking alot better than Man Utd did after the whole saga, the boot incident after the arsenal cup tie and all that

Becks was a GREAT player in the 90s. AMAZING. Did v well for England in the 98 World Cup, just fantastic
then he goes and marries a former spice girl, the media grows and grows along with his ego.
I wouldnt want him at my club, only bc of the attention he craves. it has destroyed him. Last 2 world cups he's been v poor. simply said, he's far away from the player he once was in the 90s.
shame that

She made him the icon he is today in my personal Opinion that's not good though. he's not captain material, atleast not anymore. John Terry would be a great captain for England. He reminds me of Tony Adams.

Liverpool fans opinion I think he's a disloyal tit. He has himself to blame for the Chelsea situation and now he's trash taking. Wenger should kick him up his fanny. He's a top player but he's a knob.

Ashley - great player, turned into fucking tossbag over the whole tapping up thing. Would personally prefer, if we sell him, for him not to go to Chelski, but for 25 or 30m I'll bite my tongue.
Beckham - DEFINITELY came out looking best after the Fergie bust up. That man is one steaming geeat twadge. I dunno how Carrick left the scum to go there; I couldn't stand playing for that red faced vagina.

Oh yeah, and Gallas - much as I'd love it he wouldn't come to us. The whole point of him giving the V's to Mourinho is he wants to get out of the Prem and have a new challenge in a different league.

Great player but as an Arsenal fan you'd have to be asking why he'd want to leave? By what Dom wrote it seems he's not popular at all. That could be a reason but I'm sure people didn't just start hating on him out of the blue.
Gallas would be a very good player in Arsenal colours. As mention, AW does bring out the best in people & Gallas has always given his all/been a class player for Chelsea.
Interesting to see the reaction Ash gets if he plays a proper game for Arsenal with his future still undecided.

Well he was never my favourite player, beacause to be honest, he comes across quiet badly, he's always slabbering to another player, or to the referee. However he was our player, and still is, and hes also one of the best left back in the game at the minute. The fact that he agreed to meet Chelsea officals behind Arsenals back, and then was angered by the fact we wouldnt stand by this act of disobedience really was then end of the club and the fans love affair with the number 3. Last season he bearly got a game for us, and we got to the champions league final, No player is EVER bigger than the club, I think were better getting the money with as much time left in the transfer window.

Wenger wants quick Cole decision
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger wants left-back Ashley Cole's future to be settled by the end of this week. The 25-year-old has repeatedly been linked with Chelsea and Wenger said: "I don't know what will happen.
"For me, the deadline has come to make a decision one way or another and I would see this week as the limit."
Cole is not in Arsenal's squad for the Champions League tie at Dinamo Zagreb and, if a move goes through, could play for Chelsea in the competition.
Wenger insisted that Cole was left out for fitness reasons but Chelsea, who returned from a pre-season trip to America on Monday, would not want to sign a player who is ineligible for their 2006-07 Champions League campaign.
Arsenal vice-chairman David Dein has admitted that initial talks between the two London clubs have taken place.
Chelsea were fined - together with Blues manager Jose Mourinho and Cole - in June 2005 after they breached league rules by meeting without Arsenal's knowledge.
Cole's relationship with the Gunners has been strained of late and in promotional material for his new book the defender criticised Arsenal for making him a "scapegoat" over the tapping-up affair.
The England left-back is expected to cost Chelsea up to £25m, with some reports linking unhappy Blues defender William Gallas with a move in the opposite direction.
Wenger said he admired the Frenchman but added: "We have never spoken to player or club about that so it's pure speculation at the moment."
