Gunners, take care of this man, best player in the world (in my opinion): Yes, Titi is an amazing player too ;D

Yeah a class act no doubt but one unfit mofo!, he will probably be wrapped in cotton wool until the semi final and not make any La Liga apeparances. My fear for Arsenal is two fold, 1st they are now favourites and everyone expects!, previously no one except the fans did and secondly they had better be able to mix it up a bit because having seen this Villareal team several times they are a bunch of dirt hardmen!. They also have a canny nack of getting away goals!.
First leg again at The Bury on its last Eurpoean night! it has to be a classic!...heres to a 3-0 first leg lead!!!!

What Gaz said is true Now our Arsenal is favoured when before everyone expected to see us out of Europe back against Madrid, it's a little different this time. V-real are in the final four for a reason and need not be taken lightly... But neither should we!
Another solid performance from the phenomenal young back 4 in my opinion and it's as good as there
Kolo and Senderos have paired BEAUTIFULLY in there and Flamini may be out of position but he's still playing fantastically! And I don't know if enough can be said for Eboue coming in for Lauren, he's more than impressed me... except that one run into the box, but that's hard luck

Eboue is the find of the season!, he is an express train with an engine that goes on forever!, playing with the Kolo Kid at the African Cup Of Nations was the key they compliment each other immensly!. Senderos is more of a no-nonsense palyer who like most is a confidence man and his confidence is currently Sky High!. Huge praise too for Flamini for adapting out of position and making many Gooners ask who cares if Cashley departs? we have Flamini and Clichy to cover.
Like I said before Riquleme is the man but I think he can be handled, it is all about that first leg and getting a good lead and none conceded then we can adopt the steel approach away and march on to Paris!.

Just as an aside why if Riquelme is so damn good did Barcelona dump him out on loan never to return?, just curious would it be perhaps that he is the master of being injury prone!, he has missed so many matches for Villareal this season!

Because Barcelona has the "BIG" Ronaldinho in his position mate, it´s all ´bout marketing too. Yeah, he missed "so many" matches for injury, but not this time, he plays ALWAYS the finals. 7 players to take care in these 2 matches:
ROMAN Titi Forlan Reyes Bergkamp Sorin Pires

I think Bergkamp and Pires won't be too important in this one. Cesc will be the one to look at IMO.
I think Arsenal are favourites, but so were Inter and look what happened. Riquelme can turn it around in a minute, just like Henry. I'm sure it'll be entertaining.

yeh Bergkamp is gone really, only makes cameo appearances these days, and Bobby's gone and annoyed Wenger, hence he's been dropped much of this season... and he always pisses me off because he's got so much ability but only turns it on when it suits him, and not necessarily the team
Looking to Lehmann, Toure, Fibreglass, Freddie, Reyes (2nd leg anyway), TH14
And who knows, Gilberto "the-big-girl-who's-shit-at-football,-has-zero-physical-presence,-has-poor-control-and-can't-pass -to-save-his-life-but-somehow-is-a-world-cup-winner-yet-the-very-odd-time-pulls-out-a-decent-performance" Silva may do something!

Yeah, he missed "so many" matches for injury, but not this time, he plays ALWAYS the finals. 7 players to take care in these 2 matches: ROMAN Titi Forlan Reyes Bergkamp Sorin Pires Does Riquelme not play attacking central midfied behind the forwards in the Deco role? I thought he did that rather than hugged the left side of the pitch like Ronnie!. A player as good as Riquelme is would surely have been able to fit into the team!. Or is it simply that he was an injury prone player who wanted "Star" status but was never afforded it at Barca and had to be shipped out! In addition it is for precisely the reason you stated that I dont think Titi will be going to Barca at Arsenal he is "The Big Star" and at Barca he would have plenty of competition for that! and he certainly would not be the skipper!, a role I believe he now enjoys significantly more, given his recent admission to challenging Cesc to get his arse into the box and him duly taking note!. Sorin...did he not get his eye destroyed by Materazzi?, surely that might rule him out of the semis??, I agree DB10 wont play for Arsenal and Pires will only play if Camp Freddie gets hurt again! it will be as you were!

I think it WAS a penalty!!!
Can you actually point out a play where they did dive?

they were diving all day....yeh, it was a penalty....and even the real fouls they made look worse....rolled on the ground forever they spent so much time falling over that 5mins of injury time was played. I found it funny and ironic that they subbed someone on in the 94th min....prob just to waste time....when it was them who caused those 5 extra mins to be played VR are horrible. They had one decent effort that left Lehmann on the ground....but apart from that, we dominated should have been 3-0+. But i'll take 1-0. Means that if we score in the return, we're practically through: 1-1 --> PROGRESS 2-1 loss ---> PROGRESS and i cant see us conceding more than 2 although i fear we will be humilitated by Barca in the final. But who knows....look at Liverpool v AC last yr...3-0 down at HT and won it thats what makes the game fuckin quality, huge comebacks can happen in a matter of mins (Chelsea with the Kanu hattrick), and unpredictable things can occur too football is the greatest game in the world respect

The tackle by Gilberto was clearly a penalty, but since a lot of the villareal have reps for diving then there is no way that it's going to get called.
btw someone needs to tell liv4never to stop running on to the field while a game is in progress.

Barcelona will NOT humiliate Arsenal if they both reach the final!, yes they have gifted forwards, so did Real and Juve!, didnt see them hit the net!, Arsenal are steel in this competition (9 clean sheets in a row!!!) and have finally learned clean sheet at all costs and then get 1 or 2 goals and it is job done!. If the final is Barca vs Arsenal I believe Arsenal will win and Eboue, Toure and the boys can stop Ronnie and Eto'o, then TH14 can get the goals to bring home the big cup!...half way to Paris!, lets get the job done, 1 goal next Tuesday will see us there! oh and btw AC Milan aint done yet!

A good, solid result for the boys. I'll take 1-0 and a clean sheet in this competition any day. Villareal were unbelievable in the diving department. I was pleased Tachhinardi got booked purely for the shemful play were he and Henry bumped into each other and he fell over, then looked up to see Arsenal were on the counter-attack and began rolling around like he'd been hit with a sledge hammer. Disgraceful. You can argue that they should have had a penalty from Gumberto's challenge (maybe they shouldn't dive so fucking much, maybe then the ref, who I thought did very well last night, would have listened to them) but then we should have had another goal, with a perfectly good TH14 strike disallowed incorrectly for offside (and not forgetting the other dodgy offside call against Pires later in the game). So the Villareal fans should count themselves lucky, in that respect. Arsenal are just 90 minutes away from the Champions League final!! I can scarcely believe it. COME ON YOU GUNNERS!! Now let's smash the scum up on Saturday

I think it WAS a penalty!!! Can you actually point out a play where they did dive? can you point out a play that you didnt? its not just your team, its every team that plays in your league, your cheats. lets be honest, find me a fan of english football who disagrees weve had players whove done it, everyone has, but the sheer amount of it within your teams is stagering, at the world cup it wont be tollerated

Dom are you comparing the premier league to our league? la liga de las estrellas, the best league in the world?
english football is horrible. and playing against an english team is horrible too. british refs are blind (and UEFA's too). You may thank god than in last few years you've had chelsea playing good football (well...good counterattack), liverpool filling the team with spanish players and Arsenal having Titi and recently Cesc and Reyes.
anyway i cant see me watching a whole match of the premier league. i've done it a few times in my life and its clearly insane.
And yes, spanish football has lots of divers but at least they play the best football on earth.
