Magna est vis consuetudinis So I guess this hints to natural evolution + Liam...but most importantly the existence of this post in this thread hints that an album is really coming ? Gem’s confirmed as in the band too?

That's a song I did with AI several months ago, Ignition sent me an email asking me to delete that video. That's why it's not on YouTube, it's a shame they use it to fool people Have reported the video as misleading. He's gotten away with this behaviour far too long now - epecially when you look at the comments and so many people believe it's real. That guy is a completely lunatic. Messed up with Kyle's stuffs. Banned from this forum more than once. Better not acess to his youtube channel. I've removed that youtube link from the posts above. Please don't post anything from his youtube channel. Thanks.

You need option 3 for your poll.
3. Try to recapture the magic of Be Here Now.
A full on, upbeat, epic, loud rock stadium album of BHN's ambition, recorded in a more sensible way would be my album style of choice. I think this will be the winner.

You can forget option 1. Noel doesn't take cocaine anymore. And he´s not under 30. I don't how old you all are, but maybe when you reach your 40s you'll realise how absurd it was to think someone at 57 could possibly write anything remotely like they did at 27, especially under the influence of drugs. Even if he wanted to. Yeh when young, dumb and full of cum (or drugs) you pick up a guitar and want to go all Wayne's World. Noel doesn't even really like playing lead any more, he's not going to lay down 30 tracks on a song So much wishful thinking around here. It'd most likely be essentially a HFB album with a lead single based on heavy strumming of a b-chord (capo 2nd fret) thrown in.

I dont buy the idea that you cant be good, wild and crazy when you grow old. Its an idea that people put into their own head. Just like you are dumb when you are young. Just no.
That's the essence of growing old, trying to keep your young mind. Noel was very young between 2017 and 2019, and got brutally old in 2020-2022 now he needs to capture that youth again. Just like Liam is younger now than he was in 2014.
Obviously you cant capture the sound of the 90s, and Oasis wont be able to make a potential new album sound like MG or BM. But it could be huge, surprising and completely wild. Why not ? There is no limit to creativity and no age to be good. There's a few artists that are still up there (not "better" but good different) in their 30s, 40s and 50s than they were in their 20s

Better they pretend DOYS didn't happen.
Someone earlier said SOTSOG 2.0 and I'm down with that. I don't think the high octane tunes are flowing fast enough to create a DM 2.0, so swing hard the other direction. Low BPM, short on saccharine balladry, lo-fi sound - straight in my veins, brothers.

It's Noel who said he'd written 'defiant rock' and a 'stadium rock' albums these last two or three years. If I had to bet, O8 will come from those batches of songs, and not from essentially HFB tunes. I know it's kind of up in the air what defiant rock or stadium rock means to Noel these days, but I wouldn't use those terms with anything HFB has been doing in years. Except maybe the first record, Easy Now, things that are obviously Oasis material or more nudging into nostalgia ("AI written" as some would say)

He often describes upcoming albums in a certain way and it never quite matches. I certainly doubt a stadium rock album to Noel in 2024 is anything like BHN. Maybe more U2, in the sense it's a "bigger" sound than most of his solo stuff.

I’m a bit curious as to what Noel defines as defiant rock, if I’m being honest.
His cosmic pop idea was pretty cool for part of WBTM and the EP’s. Maybe defiant rock will become its own sub genre lol.

"It started to sound like Council Skies without the string arrangements, do you know what I mean?" said Noel. "It was the same kind of vibe or mood, shall we say. I think it’s time to make a defiant rock record which is what I’m gonna start when I get back." "It’s not Bring It On Down," he warned. "I’m fucking 57 this year, do you know what I mean? It’s not like, I’m not gonna be fucking writing Welcome To The Jungle, you know." But Noel did confirm Marshall amps would be involved, he also asserted his belief that 2023's Council Skies is one of the two 'perfect' albums he's ever made But Noel did confirm Marshall amps would be involved, he also asserted his belief that 2023's Council Skies is one of the two 'perfect' albums he's ever made www.musicradar.com/news/noel-gallagher-rock-album

But it could be huge, surprising and completely wild. Why not ? There is no limit to creativity and no age to be good. There's a few artists that are still up there (not "better" but good different) in their 30s, 40s and 50s than they were in their 20s I agree it's not an age thing, but a lot of creativity has to do with curiosity and wonder. That sort of innocence attached to the craft of what you do drives you and if you can maintain that in amongst ageing and extreme wealth, then you can still offer those talents. This sounds mad, but I genuinely think luxury and materialism to such an excessive extent dulls the sense of wonder and discovery essential to art. Now you can argue for the many musicians who found fame and fortune yet continued to make great work well into older age. But those artists were likely not so indebted to the glamour and instant gratification that was accessible through their fortune. They still had those bigger questions lingering in their mind, and still maintained a sensitivity to perhaps quieter, other worldly elements of beauty. But for the more mortal creator, that luxury lifestyle in all its crass glory can remove you from the nuances and subtleties of life that fuels creativity. And it's maybe the reason why Noel never really came close to capturing the magic of peak Oasis again.
