Who will be up on stage with Liam and Noel? In an ideal world I think most of us would want to see the 1995-1999 lineup, with Bonehead, Guigsy and Alan White. However I think the latter two are almost total no go’s, they are out of the public eye. I don’t think anyone has spoken to Guigsy since ‘99, and I don’t know if there was a falling out with Alan White.
However I think it’s quite likely that Bonehead will be there. He still plays with Liam, I think he’s on good terms with both of them, if reports are true he may have had a part to play in the reconciliation. Plus I don’t know if anyone noticed but Bonehead was the only other band member to get a decent amount of time focussed on him in the video that was released this morning.
Other than that, if we aren’t going to see Alan White then Chris Sharrock is highly likely due to currently playing with Noel. If things aren’t good with Andy Bell then Noel or Liam may draw on one of their own touring bass players. That then leaves Gem - he still plays with Noel so could he be brought in as a third guitarist? If so I hope Noel plays lead, I much prefer how he does them and with Don’t Look Back in Anger he has started to play the lead again sometimes over the last couple of years even with Gem there.
So, band lineup - what do others think?

Btw the poll is not who you would LIKE to see on stage, but who do you THINK will be onstage.

Bonehead, Gem, Alan.
Perhaps wishful thinking so I’m trying to tempt fate. And Alan’s still mates with Guigs so you never know there!

Obviously Gem and Bonehead are likely as the relationships are still there. It’s all unknown with Alan isn’t it? But those overtures in the last couple years with his Instagram and he commented “my bags are packed” in a reply to a fan. But Sharrock has Noel’s ear, and the BDI connection too, so you’d think he was the front runner. But Alan is from the classic years…

Bonehead is the only face other than the Gallaghers to appear in the teaser video... Did you notice?

Alan might make sense and I'm sure his inclusion would be best received but it would be a crime for what he did to poor old Rock 'N' Roll Star. I'm Team Chris.

Surely they're not going to do a whole set with 3 guitarists. Where would everyone stand?

I’d like to think they would ask the people who were in the band when they split in 2009 first, first refusal so to speak. Bonehead has been playing with Liam for many years and it would be a bit cruel to leave him out.
I think this would be the most straightforward option as Noel plays with them anyway. I think Russ Pritchard would do a great job on bass but personally I’d like to go back to the 2009 line up who were there when they split. I really hope they have spoken to Andy Bell he was always enthusiastic when asked in interviews about playing with oasis again. Gem would be the natural choice on lead guitar, he kept the band together way back in 2000 when Noel left the tour. Always did a great job. Personally I really hope he is involved. Chris Sharock was the last drummer so really should be asked first. As much as I’d like to see Alan White come on and play on the WTSMG they haven’t spoken to Alan in over 20 years so it’s unlikely and I’d imagine they don’t want loads of musicians coming on stage to play songs. Mike Rowe would be the obvious choice for keyboards, Jay Darlington who played with them in 2009 is now back working with Kula shaker so might not be available.
I guessing if they didn’t want to join then Liam and Noel could go to liams band who to be fair have been playing many of the songs for years.

So i see its all on Wikipedia now, with even Russ and Mike listed as official Oasis members with Liam, Noel, Gem, Bonehead and Chris.
Makes me think that it’s probs been decided once and for all.
