Don’t engage ? Why? Are we not allowed opinions on here ? And that is the rumoured setup fella… you’ll soon see , hardly any fucker on here even seen the reunion was there months ago, all wrote it off then sat stunned when it happens , there is new music recorded , guest slots are booked in for players . And the world tour will have a set band but the uk shows will have the guest slots , talk to the right people and you might find some stuff you tit quote author=" His Royal Noelness" source="/post/1763313/thread" timestamp="1725286457"]For anyone who hasn’t yet copped on, Vespa is just passing off his opinions as fact. Don’t engage. [/quote]

To keep things clean, I'd talk about the possibile lineup in the main reunion thread. Cheers.

I reckon it will be : Chris Sharrock Gem Russ Bonehead Noel Liam I'm still hoping Andy is there, I thought he was brilliant when they played songs with actual basslines, even if his songwriting was cringeworthy for the most part. If he is sticking it out with Ride then fair enough but I hope he was sounded out about it at least.

He did a decent job in terms of bass playing on those 2000's Oasis shows.

They can do the show in two different acts.
ACT ONE - OASIS MK I, with the original band members and 90s tunes
[NOEL INTERLUDE I]
ACT TWO - OASIS MK II, with the 2000’s members and songs
[NOEL INTERLUDE II]
FINALE - Every past and current member of Oasis joins the stage for Walrus.
Simples, really.

If whitey isn't on drums I'm not attending any gigs.
He was the iconic Oasis drummer who was there for all them magic gigs and albums who everyone loves.
I felt when Whitey left a huge part of Oasis died and was never the same!
Nothing against Chris he was a good for that time but it's also not fare to compare Alan to Chris

The closer the line-up is to this, the more excited I shall be: It's the unlikeliest option, but hey! Oasis are back! Now is the time to dream the far-flung dreams!

Nothing against Chris but I don't want a Robbie Williams session drummer behind the kit driving Oasis on this Tour Alan's my favourite drummer too but that description is doing a huge disservice to Chris! He sounded massive on the DOYS tour

No idea if he was taking the piss or not but - Bonehead's mate: Looks like that guy doesn't have real insider info, would have been nice to get some news

Looks like Whitey all but confirmed surely. Posted a new video on insta playing his old drum set. That’s 4 out of the 5, surely the impossible isn’t going to happen next………..?!

I'd like the 95 line up most but it probably wouldn't sound the best. I can't imagine Guigsy has been playing much bass in the 25 years since he left.
So a mix of the two would be great, Bonehead needs to be there along side Gem and Noel. Andy would be great but maybe he's busy with Ride. Hopefully, Alan will join but Chris is more likely and my 2nd pick.

I guess it could just be a case of things being put in hold for a bit until the toxic atmosphere blows itself out or they put out a response. Otherwise things risk getting derailed by the online abuse.

Even if we only get Bonehead from the mid 90's lineup, that would be a success. That would be 3/5ths of the classic lineup.

With Alan 3.5/5
Now add Gem and Andy we've got all bases covered.

With Alan 3.5/5 Now add Gem and Andy we've got all bases covered. Yep Alan would take it to 3.5, although I'd even say 4/5 as he was in the band a lot longer than Tony and during their absolute peak. Gem and Andy would be better than some other hired guns, as they were actually in the band, but I value them both a little less as they were there when Oasis were on the slide and during their lesser albums. I think it's almost a certainty that Gem will be there.

Yeah mate, I'd say 4/5 with Alan too, was just kidding And I too think that Gem is a done deal... guess we only need to see about Andy at the end of the day.

According to The Mirror they're after Andy for the line up and I hope it's true. But what do they know.

I think Andy is going to be in the line-up, and one of the reasons it hasn't been announced yet is because Ride is currently on tour in the UK. As soon as they finish they will announce it. Ride opened for Noel recently and Noel dedicated a song to Andy, they were also seen together at Gem's wedding. They are in good terms now. As for his relationship with Liam, Andy regularly speaks well of Liam on his acounts, congratulating him on his birthday or when he releases an album... I understand that at least they offered him the job, it will be his decision... and he was always a big fan of Oasis.
Liam Noel Andy Gem Bonehead (3º guitar and piano) Alan White (but i think will be Sharrock)
Mike Rowe
