Oasis have 30 years of mailing list details - postal addresses and email accounts - and probably 20 years of webshop purchase histories on record, plus the information from the last 15 years of solo career output. It really can't be that hard to identify the genuine fans of the band... but I'm not sure the will is really there. There's many ways you could identify genuine fans like you say there needs to be a willingness to reward or honour them fans but there never is. I love Liam and Noel but neither actually give a fuck. Nor would anyone want to employ anyone to spend the time identifying said fans. I always compare following them, especially Liam, very much like following my football team Leicester. There were times I couldn't get anyone to come with me to games (very much reminiscent of Beady Eye years) in the Championship/League One but as soon as the success started I couldn't even get a ticket. It's quite sad how you feel more attachment as a fan the less successful they are and vise versa when the popularity comes back everyone pretends they were always on board. I don't mind not liking an artist. It's your prerogative. But the way people were genuinely gleeful when Liam was failing and those exact people now enjoy this kind of success does irk me a lot. The general trend of the whole industry has become "shock and awe" - 20 stadium shows sold out in a nanosecond headlines and hype, rather than actually putting any consideration into who you are actually selling to. Bots? Day trippers? Doesn't really matter as long as the money hits the account. This isn't really about Oasis, it's just the way the world has developed. but maybe an old school fan might reasonably expect an slightly different approach from a band who were once working class guys whose dreams were made on a small independent label. |

Not gonna lie that it was a bit annoying to not even get a pre-sale code in the first place when you've been signed up on Oasisinet since 02 and always buying the re-issues and stuff via their website too. Then you read on Instagram from people who are not even real fans and they lucked out via Ticketmaster. They should've started something like a official fanclub back in the day and people signed up there for a long time or purchased tickets in the past should be put first in line. On previous tours back in the day already. Also I like that football team comparison - it's always been a bit like that isn't it?  |

For this one, difficult to do more and better (if they do it well at least...! 🙃) if its same as presale, and the winners of this ballot are staggered into groups/times to actually buy tickets like they said it will be great experience for all. Just hope all you get into it we just be 1/2 way through the emails going out now? |

God, count me out if this process is repeated if they announce US dates. This just seems like a fucking headache at this point. It will be a mess, all major gigs are on that shit website, but I doubt it will be a mess of biblical proportions like these UK dates. They're gonna be massive stadiums for a band that have never played venues that size in the states.
By the way, great list of canceled gigs. Had no idea they almost played my home state of Hawaii back in 96!

How on earth !!!?? I spent hours of my life in a queue , we spent the whole day trying.
It’s stupid system. Really stupid.
I’ve been 41 times to see oasis/noel/liam. How…how has it come to this.

I know what this will be down to 1) I joined the Ireland queue. Midway through my account was identified (wrongly) as a bot 2) when I got into the queue for Wembley (and spent hours waiting and then getting nowhere …I’m not entirely sure that it would have known my account So I can see the technicality, but it’s Ticketmasters terrible service that has prevented me. |

Yes when we tried so hard and not invited in the party at any moment of the reunion, even with registration and stuff/concert for years, and lot of time and energy spent, that's really frustrating and I'm totally in the same mood... |

Has anyone here actually got a ballot invite? Normally by now you’d see loads of people flaunting it on social media. I appreciate those two helmets in the posts above, but surely they must look at the active time of those that spent 15 hours queueing.

And I see people even not registered on Oasisnet received the e-mail. Absolute joke 🤦 even if they spoke just about people who made the queue... but it seems a lot of people didn't receive anything even with spending hours and hours on Ticketmaster Saturday... |
