I assumed it was the new mynet thing also but if he never signed up I cant be. Maybe is 'recent' activity on INET their data base will have 20+ years off data so maybe 'lapsed' customers are purged so that could've been a factor if you used them for merch etc in last 5 years something like that?? idk I used it for merchandise still recently, and got nothing, so it seems not to be this neither 🤔 I haven't bought merch from them, but I did sign up to oasismynet and I got the email.

I know the mailing list isnt the same thing, though its still a joke. I signed up to noels fc thing. Liams mailing list. Oasisinet aged ago...not a loyal fan though.
Now im seeiing people in belgium who never really cared about oasis 15 years ago showing off their tickets on social media. Feeling bitter? I guess..

I got the loyal email and it was to an email address (Apple Hide My Email functionality) only used to sign up to the oasis my net thing on the day it went live.
All my Oasis store purchases were made using a different email and that didn’t get the loyal email

As plenty said inc myself 1.3 million tickets out there come July next year be loads of tickets flying around of people who just cant go

I've just seen a thread on another forum from 2003 about tickets on sale for Oasis in The Point in Dublin, and what a rip off the tickets were at €49.50!

So, I know yet - thanks for all! - that QR code will be valid on gig's day on ticketmaster website, but what with 'Souvenir Ticket', which I bought? The same case with QR code? From where I'll take the ticket?

Using the phrase “loyal fan” was a massive misstep on their part. They should have simply stated that winners would be selected at random and left it at that.
Cordially, Disloyal Oasis Fan

From where I'll take the ticket? The QR code is the ticket so you show you phone and they scan it at the venue. The souvenir ticket gets send out in the post after the gig (thats what the website says)

Whole thing has been a shambles. Missing out on tickets is part of the deal and always gutting for people but I still can’t get over the double/triple price at point of purchasing. And to add salt to the wounds they’re saying you can’t re-sell for more than face value… you couldn’t even buy originally at face value! Scandalous and hypocrisy at its finest.

I saw both oasis and Noel for free
Most other tickets were always a round 40 to 60. Except maybe Noel in 2017 something like 75. But some very good seats and a small venue
I have no pleaure to spend a small fortune for a gig, never have
One of the reason I never saw macca live and I do not regret it

The dynamic pricing is a fucking disgrace. Shame on Noel and Liam - so-called band of the people, what a joke. A cash grab, pure and simple. They could have done it another way. I don't mean to sound naive and please do correct me if I'm wrong, but they personally wouldn't have had anything to do with it, right? Surely the promoters are to blame for that Sorry but yes, I believe you’re being massively naive. Guardian article on the whole thing states that they will have signed off on it - www.theguardian.com/music/article/2024/sep/01/oasis-ticketmaster-in-demand-standing-tickets

I posted a BBC article some where else here today and saw maybe an independent article on twitter earlier and while all seem to be pulling from similar sources they are all saying it up to the band/mgt would defo had signed off on it
it really feels that is getting traction and people voicing their views instead of being apologists saying it ticketmasters fault so 'what did people expect' etc could create some change, other bands will see this backlash and stay away from doing it
