just booked the hotel for London - expected far higher prices - so very happy 😊 Thank goodness London is so big an Oasis concert is barely noticeable!

I hope this is true and that they do have a plan to make it up to people, it's only right!

I hope this is true and that they do have a plan to make it up to people, it's only right! Im hoping so, just not sure what they can do? As people have paid these prices now. You can’t exactly seek out half a million people who paid above initial price and pay them back. I guess the closest is a new date without the dynamic pricing.

I remember they refunded fans back in the day at Heaton Park but yeah you're right, the circumstances are totally different and it'd be a much tougher ask

First, Crowded House work at a totally different scale than Oasis. Second, it would not be fair either at this point, after so many people refused to buy the tickets at that price. And even if I think dynamic pricing is terrible, I am at peace with my decision of buying the tickets, tbh: it will probably be a night to remember for ages. But banning dynamic pricing at subsequent gigs would be a nice way of showing they listen to feedback from fans and to stop or at least atenuate the backslash.

This isn't the 1800s, Ticketmaster has all the info needed. Lol.

Maybe it is not fair because I let available tickets with "dynamic prices" during my 16 hours research, but in other sides I say myself, someone who paid triple price deserve to be considered as huge fan too and I can't be angry if Ticketmaster abuses are sanctioned officially. So I think I prefer to see these tickets with a refund part for you. For me it changes nothing at the final. Things are done, yesterday nightmare was yesterday and nothing can be change.

Zero chance Ticketmaster are going to backtrack on dynamic pricing, sadly it the way the market has been post covid. Had the same experience in 2023 with springsteen tickets in the US. The market is the market and TM have a monopoly.
The only hope moving forward is any further dates and restrictions have regulations to the ticket price market.

Any idea on when resale starts tomorrow? The sources are Twickets and Ticketmaster but, what is the url of the official Ticketmaster resale platform?

Yes the same. With each gig available on a dedicate page, I really thank it would be sold out in 5 minutes. I don't understand. It would have sold out in minutes, if their systems could handle all the traffic without an issue, plus if they didn't have these ridiculous queuing system. Particularly the queue was what delayed the whole thing, only to create desperation to the fans and then surprise surprise to gouge the prices. The queuing system was a mess, but I guess the point was to guarantee a satisfying buying experience and avoid crash during paiement and so on. Virtually all tickets were bought by people logged in before 9am, so you could argue they virtually sold out in 1 second - as coming at 9:01 would have already been to late.

Dissappointed. Dynamic price range. 350 pound for a standing ticket.
Band of the people? My arse.

They started. at less than 3000 (well one did and one not far behind in the big scheme of things) in the queue and ended up with nothing But I agree all people who got them was portably there at 9am and just queued until all was sold

Didnt get a presale chance either. Apparently if youve registered at oasisinet in 1999 youre not a loyal fan. Only if youve registered in april 24 you are. What a joke.

Oasismynet is NOT the same as the mailing list. This new thing was set up in April and seems to be the deciding factor as to whether or not you were classed as a loyal fan or not. It's not fair, don't get me wrong, but I just think it's important to stress that it is not the same as the band's mailing list

I wonder if all this reunion planning was the reason behind oasismynet? It looks like it! this isnt true and GIMH (sorry to tag you) got a code and never signed up to that tho i won't argue that they set it up ready for the reunion

this isnt true and GIMH (sorry to tag you) got a code and never signed up to that Ah right ok! In that case, it seems like it was pure luck of the draw as to who was labelled a loyal fan and who wasn't

Maybe is 'recent' activity on INET their data base will have 20+ years off data so maybe 'lapsed' customers are purged so that could've been a factor if you used them for merch etc in last 5 years something like that?? idk

Seems to me like the majority of presale fans were the 'loyal fans' lot who got that email. Edit: sorry just realised I misread that exchange, thought you were saying something else never mind.
