Does anyone know how many total tickets they sold and how much demand there was? Going by the capacity of the places it's approximatively 1,4 millions, no idea about the demand but I know more people that couldn't get them than people that managed

Does anyone know how many total tickets they sold and how much demand there was? Posted in another thread that The Mirror reported earlier that 14 million people will have tried to get tickets. Possibly bigger than Knebworth 96

I got tickets for Wembley. Section 140 for 360 Pounds. I don't know what to think of it. Perhaps I will use the resale and wait for 2026.

They never did such a large stadium tour EVER (17 dates, 1.4 millions tickets in 6 weeks). And if tickets are never easy to get in the UK usually the vast majority of « serious » buyers (logged in at the start of the sale) got something. This is very different of whatever we knew since at least 1996.

So... That's it... I try till the last breath possible.
Very 1st time ever in 20 years, I don't succeed to get a ticket for an event (sport or concert...) and that's for the worst scenario. Really sad tonight.

what they've done with the ticket prices today was actual scumbag behaviour I mean. If they didn't pump up the prices using dynamic pricing in this context, that just means they would have been gone even sooner and all of you would have seen even less tickets. Not supporting the practice at all. But even less tickets (zero) would have been left when placed 40.000 in the que.

Really sad tonight. You have a year to solve it. Checking ticketmaster resell through the year. Or start saving a bit every month or skipping the weekly pizza and closer to summer pay more for a second hand ticket.

Nope, I never pay for a 2nd hand ticket just for a guy who want to fu*k me or other at each events. It will be resale price, or nothing

I'm still confident I'll be at one of the gigs. I'll be checking Twickets frequently.
I can't lie though I'm so gutted I've missed out. Always have decent luck with tickets. In fact I can't remember ever missing out on a gig I wanted to see. Now the one I want to see the most my whole life and I've failed.
I'm sure I'll be there, somehow.

Wonder how many hardcore fans will fly over to America to see gigs as demand will be much, much lower.
And so will prices - at least after the initial on-sale/dynamic pricing BS (let's be real, there will be thousands of tickets available on the secondary market for every US gig at less than face value. They're NOT a huge band here).

So did anyone get through on Gigs and Tours or Sees? Saw a few screengrabs on reddit but I haven't been able to access the site for hours I got on a few hours ago. it was much easier as you could click the gig and I had list of all tickets but every date was sold out for everything Well the standing did say currently unavailable vs all other tickets sold out so idk why the difference they only good think is they have a waiting list so if is a date you want you can sign up and if any tickets do come back online (which they often do with these big gigs) they will email you

Remember that when they later on know the actual size of the stage they usually release more tickets.

Maybe selecting attendees by £ is more fair than by mere luck (at this point everyone was in the waiting room before the start of the sale and queue number seemed to be random. That’s also unjust - and I say that having a ticket payed at face value.

That’s also unjust - and I say that having a ticket payed at face value. I'm for luck and random. Or just having luck getting first through the needles eye. Not having just the upper class who can pay a lot, in the stadium. But it's just a philosophical question, if e.g. Oasis doesn't care who they play for why not marketplace all the tickets and make as much as they can. Like with any other goods I'm just saying the only reason one got see and could be angry and balk at super-expensive dynamically prices tickets were that they were so expensive. Normally priced would have not even been seen for most people because no one would have turned those down.

I think this will generate some backslash for them. I get that dynamic pricing makes it easier for us die-hards to get tickets but there are other ways to accomplish that. And bands like The Cure did disable dynamic pricing for their gigs
