As someone who's outside the UK, Id also appreciate a less-hyped and more practical thread about whats the best way to purchase tickets and some info about the venues. At first i thought about Edinburgh but now i read many posts saying August is not the best time for tourists - hotel & transportation wise.... Wembley is probably your best bet. There are so many hotels in London that hotel prices haven't really increased, whereas hotels everywhere else shot through the roof literally the minute the gigs were announced. There are 3 tube stations within walking distance of Wembley - Wembley Park, Wembley Stadium and Wembley Central. There will be massive queues for Wembley Park and Wembley Stadium - less so for Wembley Central but it's a further walk away. But they're well managed and organised and once you're on the tube you can connect to any part of London fairly quickly. Edinburgh is a lovely city but the Fringe comedy festival is held around those dates every year and hotels are always fully booked well in advance. Murrayfield is about a 25 minute walk back to the city centre. Heaton Park is a fair trek from the city centre. Traffic will be heaving outside and it'll be really difficult to get taxis (and will pay an arm and a leg). It's about a 2 hour walk back to the city centre if not. Can't really comment on Cardiff as it's the city I know the least having only been a few times, but much of the above will apply. In normal circumstances I would always recommend Manchester or Edinburgh over London but I think Wembley will probably be easier all round for those outside the UK. Nice posts and advice, will walk 20 mins to avoid crowds if i can get ticket for wembley. thanx

Do we think they will add even more dates based on demand, or is that all of them now as per the leaked schedule?

So what about buying the tickets? If I'm fine with whatever venue I can go to, what's the most efficient way to get tickets? Do I open all the concerts'pages on all distributors (Gigsandtours, Ticketmaster etc.) and hope for the best or concentrate on one gig specifically? And how do you think queueing will work, when do I need to open the page?

At the same venues? Do you know by reliable source or just you think? I have no information, but based on the demand and all the free time between the gigs, I'm sure that more dates at least for London and Manchester will come

10 dates at Wembley put to one side and same with Heaton park .. the demand will be gauged off the initial applications , this could be around a 30 date uk tour alone

Hi.
All prices are on Gig and Tour website. I'm on the phone so don't able to copy it clear here.
Cheers from France.

Liam will need time to rest his voice between gigs. I hope it was one of his terms (the oasis mgmt showed before they didn’t care about it) or it will end badly.

£150 standing. Seats varying from £70-£200 That sounds about right. I knew the Irish price of £80 was only going to be for a few select seats.

And if my goal is just to get a ticket to whichever venue I can, do I go for the stadiums where there's standing and numerous seated options or do I go for Manchester where only standing is avaiable? Which one would I have the best chances for on Ticketmaster or GigsAndTour?

But the pre-sale starts earlier than 10am, doesn't it? Does this mean that everyone who gets access to the pre-sale is practically guaranteed a ticket at one of the shows then? I have no idea when the pre-sale starts now...until tomorrow 5pm you can get contacted (if successful) with the pre-sale details does anyone know when the pre-sale starts tomorrow??
