Hey everyone, got ballot confirmation, and to complete ballot registaryion it says you need to 'confirm entry'. So I clicked 'Confirm Entry' button but received a message saying 'page not found'. Anyone else had this issue?? I just clicked and the link says you're confirmed

Is £80 for Ireland confirmed? It says 'from €86.50' on MCD which I can only assume means that the cheap seats will be way in the back

It was clear from the beginning : the original announcement was that those 14 shows world be the only one in Europe with more to come for other continents.

I get it they don't announce a full world tour already. No need to rush anything now. If all goes smooth Europe, South America, Asia/Australia will 100% get some shows and it would be stadiums/open air gigs aswell for course.
If they play their hands smart now this gonna be a late game changer and massive rise of their standing outside the UK.

It’s a ballot for a presale. Which means you enter a lottery and if you are successful you get a code to enter the presale on Friday. You are not guaranteed a ticket.

I'm in Manchester. Heaton Park does have a tram stop these days Two lines going directly to Piccadilly / the city centre and to Radcliffe / Bury the other way (might be cheaper and easier to get accommodation in those towns). For a big-ish city, Manchester is quite small really so even if you find accommodation at the other end of the city, it shouldn't be too much of a hassle. Good luck everyone x

Thanks, i missed the lottery part. so those who win can definitely enter the purchase site on friday, i wonder if those who don't win would also get a negative msg, just so you don't have to sit and wait for nothing................

My guess is they wait for the UK shows to massively sell out, add the extra Wembley and Heaton gigs, and then announce the rest of the world so they can say “‘x’ amount of tickets sold in minutes” or whatever. Assert their UK dominance and then make the rest of the world envious!

They promised everyone would get the confirmation email if they got the question right but I happen to know of 5 people who didn't get theirs, and all of them were using GMail. I tried with Yahoo, and had no problems, though I did have to wait more than half a day. Weird.

Got no email yet, anyone know the train situation around Cardiff by the stadium? Wondering would there be trains after the gig back to Liverpool, would stay over but all the hotels seem to be booked up already.

As someone who's outside the UK, Id also appreciate a less-hyped and more practical thread about whats the best way to purchase tickets and some info about the venues. At first i thought about Edinburgh but now i read many posts saying August is not the best time for tourists - hotel & transportation wise.... Wembley is probably your best bet. There are so many hotels in London that hotel prices haven't really increased, whereas hotels everywhere else shot through the roof literally the minute the gigs were announced. There are 3 tube stations within walking distance of Wembley - Wembley Park, Wembley Stadium and Wembley Central. There will be massive queues for Wembley Park and Wembley Stadium - less so for Wembley Central but it's a further walk away. But they're well managed and organised and once you're on the tube you can connect to any part of London fairly quickly. Edinburgh is a lovely city but the Fringe comedy festival is held around those dates every year and hotels are always fully booked well in advance. Murrayfield is about a 25 minute walk back to the city centre. Heaton Park is a fair trek from the city centre. Traffic will be heaving outside and it'll be really difficult to get taxis (and will pay an arm and a leg). It's about a 2 hour walk back to the city centre if not. Can't really comment on Cardiff as it's the city I know the least having only been a few times, but much of the above will apply. In normal circumstances I would always recommend Manchester or Edinburgh over London but I think Wembley will probably be easier all round for those outside the UK.

If they play their hands smart now this gonna be a late game changer and massive rise of their standing outside the UK. I doubt that they could go for big stadiums in Asia though, maybe Japan, but thinking about Southeast Asia (where I am based for 10 years now), the general audience is just not there at the price points they would ask for a show that Oasis puts on. Coldplay sold out two nights at the biggest stadium in Bangkok, but there people attending these concerts are often casual upper society people (who can afford a 150€ plus ticket) and they go for the instagram and the lights and fireworks etc. - we know that Oasis won't put on a visually stunning show as other mainstream artists do, so I guess they would have a hard time doing stadiums here. Nevertheless, I have my fingers crossed for some 10k plus indoor arenas!

I'd say AAMI Park (or two nights at Rod Laver in Melbourne) and Accor Stadium (Sydney) in Australia would be a safe bet in October next year. Maybe the Riverside in Brisbane, and something similar in Perth, and one stadium in Aukland.

English bands dont go to Europe anymore unless its for big dates. Get used to it. Maybe that will come after they are done with UK.
I suppose Oasis dont want to tour festivals because of the nature of the contract. Its big money for headlines shows, not just a random spot at a festival.
